Amazing pub, popped in on the spur of the moment for something to eat. Staff are attentive friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent customer service checked with me for allergies and checked with the menu specifications.

A nice enough pub with decently priced drinks and food. It's a chain pub and I wouldn't' say it's anything special but a reliable place for a quick/cheap bite to eat or a couple drinks. The staff are very friendly and there are usually some sort of food deals on the go.

We come here often. The food is always consistent in portion size, quality and quantity. The service is always friendly. Had a lovely server called Ellis the last two times we ve been. Background music is playing. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Will be coming here again.
Haven't been to The Black Bull in over 30 years, expected it to be quite an old man's pub still but was very pleasantly surprised. Really nice atmosphere, good and busy. We had the 2 for £11 option. Although the choice is rather limited, the fish and chips we had were really good and the portions excellent. Not the place to go if you’re looking to impress your date but perfectly acceptable for a pleasant meal.
First time we've been to this pub. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely and affordable. An added bonus was, the day we came there was 40% off main meals.

I have never had to put in an "IN and OUT" when booking a table before so that was strange. Glad I gave us an hour & a half as I don't like to feel rushed. Luckily we weren't but The waiter and bar staff were lovely. The food was really nice and a very good price and huge. I will definitely go again
Came here for my birthday with my friend and his mum. Had a lovely time and Jemima, the person who kindly served us, went above and beyond to make my night awesome. First time eating at Black Bull and I will be coming again. Would recommend.
