I am only reviewing the breakfast portion of the restaurant. Overall, they offer a great breakfast selection of buffet and ordered food. The buffet is well placed with hot, cold, and breads. It offers a nice selection of coffees and teas.

My wife and I visited the Rise restaurant in the Grand for afternoon tea. It is an excellent place for traditional English afternoon tea. Beautiful food in opulent surroundings. Excellent service from immaculately presented staff. If you're visiting York, it's well worth a visit.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. Service was attentive but not pushy, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing but not overwhelming, and the food was absolutely incredible.
