These lovely people catered for a big family party for us last weekend. The food was absolutely fantastic and even though we and many other guests are not vegan, it has really opened our eyes to how good vegan food can be. The dhal was superb and the vegetable pakora the best I have ever eaten. We ordered three cakes, as we had several birthdays to celebrate together and every one looked stunning and tasted delicious. My personal favourite was the cherry and coconut. So well priced too. Kind, thoughtful, straightforward service from my first enquiry to my thank you at the end, when you packed me off with some delicious leftovers. What a great business. Thank you once again!
The best vegan/non vegan torte i've ever had :O and the bacon* sandwich was out of this world. Every one needs to go here, vegan/veggie or not!

Stopped here today and picked up a sausage roll and Twix-like bar to eat later in the day. Just finished both and they were excellent! The people of York are lucky to have this cruelty free yumminess!
Went today and got the mac and cheese and peanut butter flapjack. Both were delicious. Also bought some 'bacon' which I'm looking forward to trying tomorrow morning for breakfast.

Very pleased with my daughter’s birthday cake. It was so good that my distinctly non-vegan husband couldn’t tell that it was vegan and had 2 pieces! The sausage roll was a hit as well.

If you are interested in all thing Vegan fast food, I would highly recommend Orinoco within York.
I visited for a quick lunch before a journey home . Upon arrival I felt welcome from the staff.
The restaurant is small(within the upstairs seating area) but very well decorated with an assortment of prints and plant life.
The food is well priced for the portion size and well worth the wait.
I had the Vegan Hotdog, having being vegan for more than 2 years hotdogs is one thing I still seem to avoid.
However, I am happy to say the one I had was delicious.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of other meals as well, which I am looking forward to trying the next time I'm in York.
Hail Seitan! You don't have to be vegan to eat here, you just have to eat vegan whilst here. Not at all a hard task with such an amazing selection of in house made burgers, hotdogs, fried "chicken" and even salads too! Served up with a side of fries or rice. For the sweet tooth a selection of cakes and tray bakes. Eat in or takeaway, served by wonderful staff in a great little spot.
🤯🤪 What an amazing place to grab food from. It has a whole menu suitable for vegans! (or for those who fancy giving vegan food a try).The texture and flavour is almost uncanny.
You're absolutely spoilt for choice here. So much so, it's guaranteed to get you excited.
The staff were very friendly and made the food in no time at all.
Would definitely recommend going out of your way to try something from here.

Delicious food, cheap and really fast!
I ordered an Orinoco VFC Burger with Garlic Mayo. It came super fast and was gorgeous: it had tons vegan chicken and with lots of vegetables in it.
I could have one of this any time!!! :D

Amazing vegan junk food. Having tried the 'once across the garden' Street food stall in shambles market, I couldn't wait for this place to open. I had the seitan cheese burger with vegan bacon and fries. I am glad this place exists. Eat in or take away, with more seating available upstairs. Expect to get messy fingers and bring your non vegan friends.
Good selection on the menu, nice staff, relatively quick service. Only comment we'd make was that the sauces could be better e. G. The mayo and burger sauce

I'm not a vegan, but I enjoyed my currywurst that's for sure. My sister had the seitan and we agreed that these were damn good vegan fries. I would definitely go again! The staff were great and the service was simple. Nice little venue too.
Really nice. Nice big portions. Had the loaded chicken fries and was amazing not greasy at all. As just starting out to be vegan can say the chicken was a great texture/flavour. Also the staff were so friendly aswell. Well done guys. 🌟
Wow!!! As if this is a vegan place?! They do take away as well as eat in, and there is a nice amount of space upstairs to dine on but be warned, it's very popular - and with good reason! The meals are amazingly priced, super tasty and don't 'feel' vegan at all. Definitely recommend the Big Mock burger and the 'chicken' and chips, you won't be disappointed! Also smashing team. I'm so pleased to have found this little gem.
Just had my first ever vegan burger, after seeing a documentary on meat on Netflix! I have always loved meat burgers and have been a bit cynical about the vegan movement. Well I have to say I was very surprised by how good it tasted! Truly excellent. May change my life. Glad I started my journey here. Also amazing tart like sweet dessert. Super friendly too.

We had the Big Mock burger and it was absolutely delicious! First time trying to place but we'll definitely be regulars now. It's so nice to find a vegan fast food place, took all the anxiety away of having to ask if it had dairy in or not!
