Really yummy apple crumble pancakes, but huge portion! (Which is probably a positive!) Nice interior, friendly staff, slightly chaotic service but would definitely return.
Delicious food and drinks. We got the pulled pork sandwich, Brie and bacon sandwich, apple pie latte and a hot chocolate which were all really good. Perfect place to meet up with friends.
Excellent ham and cheese french toastie and polish breakfast. Staff are bubbly and friendly. Lovely cafe definitely worth a visit when in York!.
Excellent brunch spot, v handy for Monks Bar parking. Highly recommended croque madam, fluffy pancakes, avo toast etc. great choice of hot drinks (apple pie latte!!!), nice children’s area, very friendly.
This was such a nice little cafe. We popped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and easily found a table. There is a really good choice of breakfast food and some dishes that are not just the usual! I had a lovely avocado on toast with beetroot and goats cheese which was delicious and a lovely combination. The service was a nice pace and we didn’t feel rushed. A good price too with great coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Found this place purely by chance and stopped off for a takeaway Hot Chocolate. It was good - it was REALLY GOOD!
Most hot chocolates seem to be moderately warm brown milk but not this one. It was hot, it was chocolatey, it was smooth and silky and I never wanted it to end! No faffing around with frothy milk here. Sorry I couldn’t thank you personally, but I was halfway down the road before I found out how good it was!

We have visited today after going to the Railway Museum to celebrate our son’s 2nd birthday. We didn’t mind the short wait as there were 8 of us and it was indeed well worth waiting for. We had the warm apple, warm lemonades and hot chocolates, which were all delicious. Then we had a selection of main meals - again quality, tasty, fresh food. All the while, our little one could play in the corner next to our table. We are so full but couldn’t resist the lovely cakes so have taken some home with us. Thank you to the lovely Polish ladies for making a special day perfect.
Lovely place! Always come here to study :) nice atmosphere and Lara was an especially amazing batista !! Their hot chocolates are the best and also french toast. They have yummy soups and good scones too
Great coffee and yummy cake. Was surprised the kitchen shut around 13:30 on a Saturday!! so that meant no savoury food on cakes were available.
Lovely little place! Atmosphere was perfect, really relaxed and comfortable. The breakfast burritos are so good (I had vegan he had mexican, both thoroughly enjoyed) with a chai latte made to perfection. Staff were fabulous, felt really welcome. Would go again without question
Really nice little cafe. We popped in for coffee and breakfast. The gluten free and vegetarian options were great. Scrambled eggs on gluten free toast was very nice.
A lovely, busy bistro that we came across during our visit to York. Had a good atmosphere and a nice selection of food and drinks including gluten free options of most dishes. We opted for two Americano coffees, a avocado-beetroot-goats cheese on sourdough and a brie-bacon on gluten free bread. Very tasty. Very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.

Nice breakfast here. We had pancakes (including some very good gluten-free ones) and my croque Madame was cheesy and delicious. Friendly service, good tea and coffee. Will try Shakshuka next time!
