Lovely atmosphere in here. The staff were especially nice and the food very tasty and well priced. Recommend.

We was staying at the nearby Travellodge and called to the Nags Head for an evening meal. There is parking available at the front.
The staff were lovely and friendly and accommodated us without fuss. The food was great and ample. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and local pub feel.
I didn't know they did rooms prior, but will certainly consider staying when in the area in the future.
Had Sunday lunch here after a hike round the beautiful surrounding villages. The pub is cosy and welcoming with friendly helpful staff. Food was really fresh and tasty and the portions were huge. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend this pub.
Pretty nice pub, gets busy so be sure to book if you want to eat there. However, like many pubs and restaurants these days they seem to have run out of plates and instead pile your food onto wooden chopping boards instead. This means if you have anything runny then it either runs off your chopping board or it runs in the cracks.
Please, for the love of God, stop putting food on chopping boards. Plates are ergonomically better and more hygienic too.
Other than that it's a great place to eat and drink and they have an outdoor area as well.
