Excellent pub great atmosphere and a lovely pint of Guinness
Amazing little pub the girl serving was brilliant a credit to the business very nice and helpful.loads of character very old pub it was a pleasure to have few drinks there I would say possibly the best pub in York City
Favourite place for a guest beer in York, that lets children and grumpy older sisters in, always a decent choice of Yorkshire, and further afield, brews, usually a darker stout or porter, that I prefer. Landlady and landlord are friendly, and will chat when it's quiet, staff are quick and friendly a
Great old fashioned pub. Nice pint
Love this place. If you want a traditional style pub with lots of character then please visit, you will enjoy every pint 👍👍🍺
Fab pub. Brilliant live music. Definitely worth a visit.
Good pub, average choice of local ales, stuff on the toes. Quite small and the worst thing was that it was overheated. A few degrees lover will save on expenses and make the place more comfortable
A very nice pub with a great selection of well kept ales. It's had many names, Anglers Arms just one of them, nice to see them not hiding the fact, makes a pleasant change
Proper york pub with good beer and not just poncy pale ales and lager Not packed out with tourists but busy enough.
Decent enough beer range, nothing spectacular however. Lovely old building. Nice traditional English pub
