Visited last night for first time, venue was really busy and good atmosphere. Had to wait 20 minutes for table, but worth wait as food was fantastic. Good balance of flavours and heat!!! Will definitely recommend and be back again
My partner & me have stayed in York over the bank holiday & we can honestly say this was the best Indian curry we have ever had & will definitely be going back when we're in York & would recommend to anyone who loves there curry,trust me you won't be disappointed!
Everytime we go to York we have a meal at the Indian lounge excellent food excellent service if you like Indian food this place is a must.
Love this indian , eat here alot , very friendly staff , food is gorgeous , brought friends with us on Sunday night , they loved it too �

Went yesterday lunchtime..a return visit for us after numerous years when we couldn't find it again after stumbling across it on a day visit to York.. ..excellent food ..tasty and plentiful..so pleased to find..now noted address for when we next come to York.. will def return in future.

Phenomenal family owned restaurant. Staff are very friendly and provided excellent service. The food is so good and there's so much to choose from with their new menu. My taste buds danced the night away. The atmosphere was very wholesome, calm and authentic. This place is easily in my top 5 restaurants.
The family and I have been eating here for years. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. The best curry house in York by a country mile. Would highly recommend the mixed Tikka. Fantastic swift service with very attentive staff. Brilliant food, packed with flavour. I’d never ventured into this Indian before but I’ll be making sure to call in whenever I fancy one in the future. Highly recommended. Ran by a great family as well.

We had the chicken 65 starter and hyderabadi lamb shank and WOW! Absolutely fantastic food. We followed up with the ILS biryani, and were not disappointed at all. Anyone who needs a good meal, MUST come here. I cannot stress enough how well the hosts took care of us, and followed it up with fantastic food.
