***Outstanding*** Greeted by fresh perky decor and a friendly smile this talented young couple wowed us from the off in their new surroundings. We shared a heavenly and flavourful ham hock in brioche with a delicate and thoughtful salad, followed by the most incredibly extravagant and unbelievably tasty Eton mess cake. The little touches were noticed, the pink homemade coleslaw, the freshly whipped chantilly cream in the Eton mess, the pretty brown string tied around the cleanly wrapped cutlery, the fresh loose leaf tea served in an ultra modern tea pot and even the thoughtfully chosen fragrant room diffuser in the rest room! I'm going back and if you love great food and service I recommend you give it a try!

Delicious scones!!! Perfect texture, firm on the outside with a fluffy, soft, melt in your mouth inside. A visit for lunch is certainly a must! Yummy

Me and my brother visited today for some lunch, the soup was amazing and the homemade bread was to die for!! The only thing I would of changed would of been getting a cake to take home too, a sneaky mouthful of my brothers and it was a instant regret, so yummy!!

With our cottage being just across the yard from the tearoom i thought we just had to visit and i was not left disappointed. Wow, Just had the most delicious cream tea. The scone was absolutely huge and the clotted cream fresh and tastey.😁 May have to return to morrow to try the Ploughmans yum😉 — at The Greenhouse Tearoom

I support a lovely lady and took her here for a cuppa n cake. I just ordered a cup of tea but my lovely lady chose a scone with Jam and clotted cream. Well I assembled my ladies scone. The very moment I cut into it I instantly ordered one too. It is the most delicious freshly made homemade scone I have ever tasted in my life. I highly recommend going there right now and ordering one, you will not be disappointed. We were so bowled over we forgot to pay and had to go back to do so ha ha. The staff are fabulous and we WILL be back for more. Apparently they do take out too...might have to treat my hubby to one for home. Well done everyone...love Janie and Mavis xx

A real surprise. Our lunches were creative and excellent. I had duck with black pudding on a mash with pistachio. The person I was with had mutton croquettes "very tasty". Prices are reasonable for this quality.

Lovely cafe, hidden gem- easy to miss as not well signed off A64 but attached to Vertigrow nurseries. High quality menu with delicious soup and hot options, homemade breads and cakes

Vertigrow's on site café. Welcoming, friendly staff. As it's a conservatory, it is very light. Has outdoor seating and loos and is dog friendly. Reasonably priced menu. Impressed because the Japanese sencha green tea was loose leaf and not teabags. The teapot provided a couple of cups for £2.30. Homemade cakes! Ooooo now then.... I had the mince pie tart. (£3.50 for a good sized piece) Absolutely totally gorgeous! Made on the premises and was stunningly delicious, moist, juicy and packed with flavour. If it's the one thing you have at the Greenhouse then select this tart because it's D.I.V.I.N.E. Will revisit.

Went on a busy day when they were training new staff, just before Easter. Service was therefore a bit slow, but the soup and bread we had for lunch was very good and we were not in any rush. Spent a couple hours in the nursery buying plants, a pleasant afternoon.

A small comfy garden centre cafe. Excellent drinks and toasted tea cake. Interesting choices of cake. The bread on sale was superb.
