We came in both mornings we were in York for the bacon bap and hot drink deal (just under £5 if I recall correctly) while walking from our Ibis to the centre. This small café seems small and tight, but it is very comfortable. The barista is friendly, the tea is good, and they have free WiFi. In fact there were a couple other people working in there when I arrived and even more when I left.
This is how nice the breakfasts are! Definitely recommend this little gem. Delicious porridge and hubby enjoyed his sausage in sourdough. With fresh coffee, a tenner for breakfast for 2. Very friendly too, we'll be back!
The coworking space at the back of this cafe makes a great change of scenery when I want a break from working from home. Really love the Cafe42 coffee blend, and wifi is super fast! Friendly staff and good service :)
