Decent food and attentive service without being overbearing. They did get our starters wrong however rectified this without skipping a beat.
We ordered a variety of dishes; 6 different meat dishes and 1 vegetable and were all good.
Where do I start, we booked in advance for my dad's 80th for 11 people including 3 children, from the moment we walked in they could not do enough for us, the restaurant was full, lovely atmosphere, the service was fantastic, the food was excellent and all meals came out together piping hot, my dad got his main and desert complimentary for his birthday, which was a lovely gesture. I would highly recommend to everyone, thank you La Quila you made dad's birthday extra special xx

Very good Indian restaurant - extensive menu from which I chose crusty monkfish which came with lemon rice.. the sauce was lovely with the right amount of spice which wasn't too much for me, absolutely delicious 😋 the service was quick, attentive and friendly.. we arrived during the happy hour (5pm-7pm) and received a 15% discount. Highly recommended. 👍
Ordered take out. Nice food, decent portions. No cutlery though, was fun trying to eat in a hotel room. Ps.. The chillies with the salad aren't pickled if you get what I mean... Hot hot

Food was STRIKEY!! Lamb jalfrezi… more like lamb Jalcrazy! Couple of Cobras to wash it down and I was in my mind palace 🐍 Staff were top geezers. Couple next to us were a bit miserable but in the words of Frank Sinatra “That’s Life” . Probs jelouse of the class night we were having. HA! Top place, would recommend for a Bhuna with the boys (or gals)

Never been here before, visiting York staying at the CMH site (you get 10% of the bill )the restaurant is 5min walk from site . Clean comfortable and attentive staff . Bottle of wine, poppadoms and pickles, mixed platter starter shared between 2, Tandoori King prawn sizzler , chicken Kuchi speciality of the restaurant, pilau rice and garlic naan £60 with discount. Food not overloaded with sauce packed with meat and flavours really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you.
