Diana's Cafe was quite a small off the beaten track little place. Really sweet. Came in and ordered a nice bacon omelette. Staff were really friendly. Unfortunately having one toilet meant there was a bit of a backlog of people wanting it all of a sudden. The food was a bit slow coming out but delicious all the same. Definitely a nice little place to visit if you're needing a sit down and a bite to eat.

Super unique liquid nitrogen ice cream, with a wide range of flavours to choose from. The ice cream is made fresh right in front of you so that’s very fun to see and the staff were super friendly. Got a huge portion of pistachio ice cream too and it was way bigger than I had expected, it had an incredible texture too and was served within only a couple minutes. :)

I had the most delightful experience at Diana's cafe thanks to Lili's outstanding service! From the moment I walked in, Lili greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Her friendly demeanor instantly made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. She went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and made sure I left the shop completely satisfied. Overall, thanks to Lili's exceptional service, my visit to the Diana's cafe was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment, not just for their delicious treats, but for the exceptional customer service delivered by Lili. She is a true asset to the team, and I look forward to returning soon for another delightful experience! (also the shortbread is unbelievable must try!!)

Have had a few visits to this lovely cafe since its ownership change to Diana's Cafe. The food and staff are always fantastic and my speciality coffee and thick slice of homemade cake come to 5 pounds, a bargain considering its central location close to The Shambles... Would definitely recommend the Mozzarella and Pesto toastie, 5 pounds and had crisps and a side salad on the side which was a nice touch. Nitrogen ice cream is fun to watch and definitely an experience if you are visiting York as nowhere else seems to offer it. Top notch.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, big thank you to Harriet and Lili for such lovely service. Got an iced chai vanilla latte. There were so many syrup options to choose from and also lots of milk choices! The toasties and baked goods are also amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try their incredible ice creams!

Had an amazing brunch here. The chap even showed my 6 year old how he made the ice cream using liquid nitrogen. This was after I’d been rude, questioning why he couldn’t have two flavours…. Missing the fact that it was freshly made to order! Thank you, loved it!

Awesome little cafe, had a salted caramel brownie, which was to absolutely die for and an Americano coffee, which was so good I didn’t feel the need to add sugar. The girls in the shop are absolutely lovely, a great smile and make the place feel extremely welcoming. 10/10
