First time here and very impressed. Good weekday meal offer with two courses for set price. Food tasted great and service was quick. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend
Really great quality food and very cosy place to go eat. Can imagine it's lovely at night when they shove on a load of fairy lights. They also are the first people to introduce me to yet another great Swedish cider in Herrljunga Cider. Definitely worth it if you're already partial to a Kopparberg o
I have never struggled to get seated here. Food is good and can suit many appetites. I would recommend the camembert to start as a 2 person sharer. Hearty food offered - beef and ale pie, fish and chips, burgers. Perfect visit for a good feed after an afternoon down Coney Street spending your dolla
Cozy place with great service and great food. Prices are average for the area. They pay special attention to the little details. If you're in a hurry, you can also pay your bill (and leave tip) directly via their website.
Pleasantly surprised! (if you can't be bothered reading it all please read the end bit about service) Went for our Meerkat Meals 2 for 1 this evening, had the pork salad, fish and chips, bubble and squeak cakes, sweet potato croquettes, side veg and some of the sausages in the 'while you wait' sect
Good food but nothing amazing as good as many other similar places, nothing to make it stand out . Thought our waitress was good but nothing amazing
Friendly service, good food for family meal. In a nice spot in York city centre.
Great atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. Food was very delicious. Would come back again!
Had a very tasty fish finger sandwich with chunky chips to boot. Food fantastic and some tasty double Gin combinations to choose from as well. Highly recommended.
Very nice restaurant, good food, but we went for Sunday roast (outside the restaurant theres a sign saying "best sunday roast in york" ) because we wanted to have roast beef but they do only chicken, despite that we really enjoyed our meal.
Had a nice meal with my family here. Food was nice and came quickly. Kids allowed 👍 Wee selection of toys/ activities was welcomed. On a Saturday evening when everywhere else was full of stag dos and hen nights, a nice meal in a calm pub/ restaurant was needed and Joe's provided. -1 As the prices
Been twice, once with friends and once with family. Didn't feel awkward either time, everyone was lovely, the food was good and also varied so everyone could get something they liked. The portion sizes were good, except the warm desserts which looked a little small but still tasted delicious. The co
Went here for some late night food. Expect to be waited on with your designated server and enjoy the rustic feel of the building. Great choice on the menu, from burgers to unique dishes. There's equally a great range of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. A little on the pricey side here, but
The food is superb. Obviously fresh and extremely well made. Service is very professional and we were made to feel welcome. Great overall all experience with reasonable prices for excellent quality. Would recommend.
Really lovely place, pretty quiet in the daytime so it's a great way to get away from all the hubbub of the busy city centre and find a pocket of quiet space. There's a lovely outdoor area at the back which is lovely in good weather, but not so great in blazing hot sunshine as it offers no shade.
