I have a complicated food allergy and the staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food, service was excellent and atmosphere was relaxing. It's a great place, I will definitely be back. Thank you

Let’s be straight here…I have a healthy appetite and enjoy a decent butty.. this place has a wonderful setting and is situated just alongside a local pond so a lovely walk and afternoon tea is a must… When I visited I ordered a sausage, bacon and egg sandwich although the food itself was cooked nicely and the sausage was meaty I can’t help but feel it was missing quantities… Would I buy it again? Yes if I wasn’t hungry and just bought it as an extra. The service was excellent and I was made welcome from the off.. you can book a table to avoid disappointment too! Lovely quiet spot with staff that care about their customers. Would recommend for a sit down lunch but not for an overly hungry grab and go worker

I hadn’t seen my Mum for 5 months so I wanted to organise something special to celebrate us being able to see each other and her birthday. I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the Ploughman’s Afternoon Tea from Love to Eat. The food was excellent and there was so much of it! It was excellent value for money. My mum and I ended up having it over two sittings there was so much. The selection of cheeses, ham and chutney was really great. The cakes and scones were very fresh and tasty. I really can’t say enough good things about how impressed both of us where by the Afternoon Tea. Fiona was so helpful and friendly in arranging everything. I will definitely be ordering a take away from here again and I can’t wait to visit in person when restrictions have been eased.

Absolutely delicious food, I particularly love the small Victoria sponge as it is very cute. I look forwards to my next visit.

Great little coffee shop. Drove past it many times but never stopped there before. Lovely service, nice coffee and cakes. Food looked really good too, definitely will go back for a breakfast at some point.

We contacted Love to Eat about a buffet for a large family event. After viewing the varied menu on offer we spoke with Fiona who was more than happy to adapt the menu to suit our requirements. The food was delivered on the morning of our event, freshly made and well presented. Everyone commented on both the variety on offer and how delicious everything was. Fiona couldn’t of been more helpful and we thank her and her team for everything they did. We would highly recommend Love to Eat.

Paid £43.90 (including a £20 voucher), which I thought was an odd amount for afternoon tea for two. Anyway, it was delicious, a lovely assortment of fresh sandwiches, mini quiche, sausage roll, prawn cocktail, pastries and cakes, including scone with jam and clotted cream plus pots of tea. A quality afternoon tea, and a lovely place to take friends to.

Commissioned a surprise cake for my daughters 21st birthday. Very helpful in selecting the design and decoration, plus arranging delivery to the restaurant. The cake itself was beautiful and delicious, and reasonably priced. Would use again, and would recommend highly.
