Great afternoon tea at The Rise restaurant at The Grand. Attentive service (even started with the lovely chap on the door who was very helpful directing us to the restaurant). Food was delicious, beautifully presented in a gorgeous & 'Grand' setting.

The whole experience was superb with only one criticism. I attended a hen party. The other women are much tallerthan I am and as we went in, the porters addressed the taller women ignoring me but I don't blame them. I am far less attractive.

Lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes, desserts, scones and tea. Good service, pleasant surroundings, you get a 2.5 hour slot for your afternoon which is great. Varied menus to suit all dietary requirements.
