Stopped in here this morning on my way to the Christmas market. Fabulous place, staff are all lovely, food is great with a large menu available and I had the best cup of tea ever!. It's nice and cosy and clean. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in York. I'd rather go to Bailey's than bettys any day. Thanks xx
This was probably the best little find in york as I was down for a training day would happily come here again if ever back in york staff so friendly exactly the way a cafe should be ran
A really great cup of tea and delicious gluten free Victoria sponge cake. Friendly staff made you feel welcome. I would recommend this to anyone.
I visted Baileys with my family in August and was not disappointed. One of my daughters and myself are coeliacs and were amazed at the different range of foods they had on offer, there was so much to choose from. I had a lasagne which came with garlic bread and it was lovely. Nearly all the desserts were gluten free too, the New York cheesecake was amazing. Highly recommend �
Nice cafe in a good location. Had two breakfasts at Baileys while we were staying in York and a lunch. The food was excellent on each occasion. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. Well worth a visit
Always come here as our first stop when coming to York for breakfast or breakfast sandwich to set us up for the day in York lovely staff and great value and good extensive menu range. Everything looks so yummy. Came yesterday for my annual Christmas visit and was lovely as always. Thank you.
Love this place - the only Cafè I know of in York where we can all go as a family, Isaac can have a full on full English breakfast with gluten free fried bread and gluten free toast. Spot on!
Called in for breakfast on recommendation and was not disappointed full English breakfast £4.95 before 11. Excellent quality and service and a great atmosphere as it was very busy. We will return.
Its a proper cafe.......not like costas and starbucks of this world......must try....waitresses are lovely and nothing a problem.they also have a gluten free menu.:-)

An essential part of our day every time we visit York. The staff are so lovely and the service is extremely efficient, even when it's busy. The menu is varied, with a good range of drinks, snacks and meals and delicious desserts. Highly recommended!

Just a lovely little cafe. Breakfast was gorgeous, staff were friendly and a really good price (full English was less than £9. I didn’t want some items on the menu and they swapped them for free. Very clean and no loud music blaring, loads of seating too and quick service
Arrived bang on 8.30 for breakfast. Had a warm welcome quick service as more customers arrived. Finding a places that open before 9 Bailey’s hit the spot. Fully recommend ( although haven’t paid yet)
Baileys Cafe is reasonably priced considering location and what it has to offer. Would recommend for a basic English. Breakfast. Lovely smoothies too!
Great Service. Was originally going for breakfast next door but I refuse to que for a breakfast.
Luckily walked into here and it was so good I went the next day aswell. Great price, great food, friendly staff and the Mocha was the best I have had in a while. :)
Lovely little place to have some food . The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing . I would definitely go back there. They had a wide choice of dishes . The omelets are amazing and so are the breakfasts .
Walked around York for over 3 hours without being able to get a seat for dinner anywhere. Stumbled across this little gem. Had steak pie and chips which was really tastey. Went back the next morning for breakfast and that was just as nice. Freshly cooked on both occassions. The staff where brilliant and worked hard in a very hard in a very busy tea room. Highly recommended.
There were three of us plus baby in pram at early lunchtime, the staff were very helpful and made room for us with the pram, then we needed a highchair, again they were happy to help. The food was excellent as was the service, we felt most welcome. Highly recommended.

We stopped in on our way to catch the bus, the place was fairly busy as it was right before lunch.
The atmosphere was nice and the staff were polite and attentive.
This place has a decent menu and the food was excellent, the giant Yorkshire pudding and sausages with gravy was a delight, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the Belgian waffles.
Would recommend to everyone that you stop in on the way past.
Good for a quick, solid bite.
It is not a fancy place nor does it pass itself as one.
The food and value are good.
The vegetarian breakfast and yorkshire tea are a must try here
