My absolute favourite place ever! I've being coming here since I was 8 years old and the staff have seen me and my sister grow up from coming till this time now, the food is just beautiful and I've never being disappointed, I love everything about this place, the staff are amazing and so entertaining. ��
My girlfriend and I often have date nights here and we are always very happy with the service provided. Tonight I visited with some of my family alongside my girlfriend, the atmosphere was brilliant as always and the food was top quality. The restaurant was bustling and all of the tables were full. The staff are so friendly and will go out of there way to talk to you throughout your experience and ensure that your every need is catered for. It is an amazing environment with charismatic staff and great food, best Italian around and we will continue to recommend the restaurant to friends and visors of York.

Had a great surprise birthday in the private room upstairs. The food was excellent as always, the staff made my night and were fantastic. I can't name a better restaurant in York.
Such a buzz about the place. Fillet steak was my choice and it was immense so perfectly cooked lovely texture. The restaurant staff couldn't do enough for you and all the dancing and occasions around birthdays and celebrations was brilliant. Loved it. Just go.
Attentive staff and lovely food, in a lovely place. Gianfranco made our night with his service, wit and singing. A lovely evening.

Fantastic meal, very friendly service and very good value too. We chose from the midweek set menu (£25 for three courses) and the food was delicious, as well as the serving staff being really personable and chatty. Great to sit in the window as well and watch the world go by in such a picturesque building, would absolutely recommend!
We decided to try the swordfish option from the specials menu, so glad we did. The food was amazing, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, an all round great experience.
This is a perfect Italian restaurant, and definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. We are fortunate enough to live in York, so we will definitely be back to try more of their amazing food. Hopefully the specials menu will continue.
We visited today and had the lunch menu which was fantastic and such good value for money. Not only was the food delicious, and good portion sizes, but the customer service was impeccable. Such an authentic feel to the restaurant and the waitress who served us was amazing, so so lovely. We had a two year old with us, and the children’s menu was incredible the baby left his plates clean! Children get a starter, main and even an ice cream and a drink for just about £10 I think it was, absolute bargain!! We will definitely be visiting again more often as we can’t fault the food, service, atmosphere, or price at all. Thank you for a wonderful meal, as I said we’ll definitely be back again!

We used to go this restaurant years ago and loved it. And we recently found out it is newly reopened, so we came to check it out. The food was absolutely amazing! The staff were so lovely, very friendly and attentive. It was a shame about the road works right outside, when we arrived the restaurant was completely empty. Not their fault, because the sign outside that says "footpath ahead closed" is misleading because it looks like its completely blocked off but you can still reach the restaurant and a coffee shop next door. So unfortunately for these businesses, they have lost a lot of custom. If you see this review please go and check out this restaurant because it was the best food we have had in a long time. The restaurant is missing out on business and people are missing out on good food. We don't want this restaurant to close down! We will definitely be returning! :)
A superb evening of delicious food, entertaining and attentive staff, and a wonderful atmosphere.
The restaurant offers interior and exterior seating, is decorated very nicely and had a fresh and new feel.
There was a wedding party there at the same time and they seemed to be having a great time. The waiters were great to have around and really struck a chord with the guests (us included).

Great food in a great atmosphere with reasonably priced menu. We ate lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Some of the best Italian dishes we have had. Salad was also wonderful. Dishes were all wonderfully plated and we highly recommend the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. The server was attentive and engaging. Will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

We had the 2 course menu for lunch, and wow, very nice, tasty, rich amazingly cooked food.
We will definitely be returning. This is now our favourite restaurant in York Centre. (Only marked it down on atmosphere as we were only 1 table of 3 that were seated, so there was not a great deal of customer atmosphere. But, tge staff were amazing and attentive.
