Extremely friendly staff who went the extra mile to serve us the perfect Sunday lunch. Meats cooked to perfection and delicious Yorkshire puddings. Nice atmosphere and good selection on the menu.

Popped in to take cover from the rain with my son and discovered a sweet and humble place. Would 100% recommend this place, the pizzas were fantastic and service delightful. Proves how big chains arent always the best. X

Excellent food, lovely surroundings, great staff. WONDERFUL to find somewhere that doesn't do bog standard food, and isn't yet another Italian/Indian/Chinese in York! Was a perfect meal - at a very reasonable price, with a good range of reasonable drinks - we will be back. THANK YOU!
Lovely garden, delicious wood fired pizza and some tasty beer. This spot is a must to check out. Had a lovely meal here with th some friends and its very reasonably priced as well.

Great little cafe/bar which had one of the best beer gardens in York! Pizza is awesome too (watch it cook in a traditional stonebake oven).
We went for our 10-year wedding anniversary and we left here delighted! We had five courses each from the Japanese Fusion menu (plus a cheeky pudding to share too) and each one was simply stunning. The flavours are clever and different and each dish is extraordinarily presented - the value for money
