Still very nice but as good as the first time. The calzone was less flavoursome and a little light on ham. Tasted a bit like a takeaway pizza. On the other hand the profiteroles were amazing and the ingredients were good quality. Portion size was not disappointing.
Service was not quite on par.
We ordered the calzone, risotto di mare, gnocchetti alla campidanese, and ravioli di carne rosalba. Food and service was excellent. The place/atmosphere made me think I was in Italy 🇮🇹 Price was also reasonable. We had such a nice experience that we decided to go there again the next night/our final

My beautiful wife and I visited Mama Mia's in August 2023 and what an absolute gem! An authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of York. The owners were very friendly, very accommodating and happy to recommend dishes.

If I lived locally to York this would officially be my new favourite restaurant. The atmosphere felt like sitting in a little café on the streets of Italy and the food was authentic and delicious. The Lasagna Al Forno was the best I've ever had!
Awesome little Italian restaurant right in York. Went for the location but the food was outstanding. Best Ravioli I have ever had outside of Italy. Our server George was great. Highly recommend this spot.
