It has a lovely terrace and great for sunny days. Unfortunately due to a construction you can't have a good view anymore ,but it's still a nice place .
I am a regular of the habit and I absolutely love it here the bar staff are extremely welcoming and fantastic at their job.
It has a brilliant atmosphere hence why I’m a regular. The food is absolutely fabulous.
The live music is always brilliant the habit is a fantastic place to come if you live
We went here last Saturday, after a quick google of dog friendly places to eat. We ended up having breakfast here which was absolutely delicious, brought to us really quickly and the staff were extremely friendly.
Would definitely consider going here again, the next time we visit York and is a love
Always friendly staff, the food is so good, could be bigger portions for the price, once slice of avocado toast for £9 seems a bit steep, but super tasty nonetheless. The terrace is so nice in summer too. Will definitely go back
A genuine York establishment, you simply have to visit. No, stop reading, just plan your trip there and enjoy the food. Also the bar tender deserves a special mention, genuinely one of the nicest people in this world.
Lovely little pub and they had an open mic night when we walked in.
Very mellow atmosphere and chilled vibe, it was a Wednesday night and I'm sure it's much more lively on the weekends... All the same, it's a great pub!!
Hidden away above this quaint little pub is a beautifully kept little roof garden with enough seats for enough people, over looking the minster. Live music, ales and craft beer available here. Nice relaxing pub was a perfect stop in the afternoon to rest and slow down taking some time off the streets dog friendly and very welcoming inside so would definitely recommend a visit!

Popped in out of the rain and decided to grab a late breakfast and well what can we say! Possibly the best full English I've ever had, a beautiful little establishment with very friendly staff and the food just tops it off. We will definitely be coming back.
Breakfast was lovely. But the barmen was amazing!! What a service! I don't know his name- glasses, deep voice, darkish hair. Hat off to you. Made our morning!

We always meet up with friends here on a night out or just for a few daytime drinks. A cracking pub with fantastic staff, lovely terrace & excellent selection of beer and gin.
