We visited recently and weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, the food was really tasty and the service was excellent (thank you Pranav) We’re in our 50’s and we’re probably 25-30 yrs older than everyone else but we were made to feel very welcome and had a great evening.

Loved the Friday Fizz. Young bar man (has 2 earrings and a student) was very friendly and helpful with the cocktail choices too! A young black waiter served us and was very attentive and courteous even after having to move tables twice due to difficulties using the higher seating area. Will def come
we had the steak frites as our meal and wow. It was full of flavour. I really enjoyed our meal. This venue is definitely more of a night out venue though as mid meal the music became very loud. great service from the bar staff. 2 for 1 cocktails is a bonus.
Nice food, well presented. Lively environment. Enjoyed the cocktails (2 for 1). I managed to get a table for 2 without a reservation. We will definitely return on our next visit to York.
