Hands down the best olives I have had in a while. That is not to say the pizza wasn't also amazing as you cannot beat a real stonbaked pizza.
In York on Saturday in early April. It was heaving and we were turned away from a few eating places as they were full. Stumbled over this little gem and gave it a try. We were shown to a window seat which was great for people watching and within 10 minutes our drinks order was taken. Drinks arrived
We often eat here when visiting York and it's always a lovely experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is always 'devine'. The atmosphere inside is cosy and warm. Never an issue when we visit here and will definitely keep returning.
Genuinely one of the best meals in my life. This was a special week away, otherwise I'd never think of eating at a restaurant like this but when I saw the set menu I was really surprised. I can't usually afford steak, and if i could it usually isn't great, but this was the best steak I've ever eaten
The Pork Belly dish was superb - cooked (sous vide??) until the fat became a soft gelatinous layer, perfectly paired with an apple sauce.

Excellent meal and service. One of the people I was with didn't like her meal and the staff were great about it. I had a pizza as they do two for one pizzas on a tuesday and it was really good, the base was thin and tasty and plenty of topping. The prawn starter was also perfectly cooked. I will def
Very nice restaurant, was shown a table downstairs but after sitting the manager asked if we preferred a seat upstairs which was much better, the food came out very quickly, a bit too quick and the scallops were not King scallops but very small and disappointing.

Read some bad reviews beforehand, but don't be put off because it is definitely worth a visit.
We were caught in the rain, looking for somewhere to eat. What a find! The food and service were excellent and we shall certainly be going again. A new favourite for both of us.
