My wife took me here for my birthday celebration meal. The food, service, Mel and staff were all fantastic!! Lovely decor and exciting menu. Well worth the visit if in York. We will definitely be visiting again!!
Dinner was excellent. A wine from a grape/region we'd not encountered before; a very light touch with the seafood (not hard to get right, but easy to get wrong); good advice from the chap in charge about choice of main course; and somehow he knew we'd spent the whole meal talking about baklava.
We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening, the staff were great and very attentive, they also helped us choose some of our food. The Kapadokya Special was one of the nicest dishes I have had anywhere so it's a 10 out of 10 from us. Well worth a visit.
We have eaten here a few times over the years and each time it has been wonderful. Great service and tasty food. The portion size is very good too.
We had a wonderful evening in this charming restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb. We shared two starters between three people and one main course each. We strongly recommend the Beef Mrouzia, Chicken Skewers and Chicken Sauté all of which were wonderful.
Food was delicious, staff could'nt do enough for you, would recommend..will definatley return.
We been here on Tuesday night very nice place and very nice soup which is lentils soup feel like at home and and follow with mix grilled The Best Restaurant in town I can say I been different restaurant in York the best so far and waitress good too and management keep going guys well done

Beautiful food.. its great to be able to go to a turkish restaurant there's not enough of them in Yorkshire. We went got our first anniversary and wasnt dissapointed with anything.
Beautiful food .. we didn't book just walked in and had a fab relaxing meal! I have a nut allergy and the Manager recommended what I could eat! Definitely going back ...
It was pretty good! The staff was very friendly, the food was good. Most portions had a pretty good size, some could be a bit bigger, nevertheless, 5 stars from me!
Nice real charcoal counter. Service is fantastic. I ordered chicken skewer which is tender, juicy and tasty. Not a big fan of Turkish liquor but worth to try. The staff are so friendly. Thank you for have such a lovely staff. Very well management. Will definitely come back with friend again.

I would love to write a review for this amazing restaurant. Loved the town and loved the food. The staff is literally cheerful, kind and welcoming. Ayden received and served us and he is one of the best hospitality staff i have come across. One of the few halal restaurants in the town and worth visiting and eating there.
So clean and such friendly staff! The food was amazing and a lovely brunch with my friends definitely coming back for a late night dinner too thank you!

Located a little way away from the main streets of York it could be missed but the food was exceptional and by far the nicest Turkish cuisine I’ve had over in the UK. The service was also brilliant; we were short on time before our theatre showing and mentioned this to the manager and he hurried things along so we were able to eat and pay super promptly. Really helpful!
This is our second time and both times have been wonderful. All the food was fresh, flavourful and so filling. The service was great. The staff were attentive and it’s just a great place to come

We went with a works doo and they comfortably catered for 25 people. The food was awesome! I tried things I had never had before and it was all really tasty!
Excellent service, lovely staff, gave us free tea at the end of a top tier authentic Turkish grill variety and a dessert that was on par with their counterpart in Istanbul. Highly recommend. Will be back for more without a doubt. Get the rice pudding!
Really good service, starters excellent. Mains were ok. Had the lamb shank , lamb moussaka and chicken skewers for the main. We were also given complimentary Turkish tea . We were served with a smile and we left with a smile
It was a day trip frm London. We're cold and hungry, looking for halal restaurant. Managed to finally googled this clean place. The service was good and the person attending to us was very accommodating and kind enough to let us perform our prayers here.

It was my first time eating this type of food and I was very happy It was really delicious, definitely will be back next time in York. Service spot on staff happy to help and explain the food. Can't say much about the atmosphere it was a Sunday night very quiet but that didn't spoil anything for us. Thanks to the staff and kitchen for a good night.,👍

Had a wonderful meal here on Christmas day. We had a sharing platter, with calamari on the side, followed by moussaka. Everything was fresh and very filling. The staff were friendly, hard working and attentive. Will try the grille next time. Looked amazing.
Loved the food, loved the experience there. I would recommend for the food, however the staff could do some customer service improvement.
Chose this restaurant due to close location to our hotel. It is in a quiet place a bit away from crazy busy center. During lunch time on a public holiday it was almost empty. Service was friendly, attentive. Cleanliness was also good. The prices however surprised, quite high. Adana kebab 17 GBP, iskander kebab 23 GBP, really? Bread had to be bought separately, and was microwaved, not fresh from the oven. The food was fine, nothing extraordinary, I tasted better koftes. At the end I pay the same bill as I did the day before at nearby steakhouse Casa Rodizio.
An amazing place that offers delicious and mouthwatering food... Had the best in-house white wine and starter, main course to baklava was exceptionally mind blowing...
I was so full that I couldn't have Turkish tea but next time for sure
