The whole meal was a pleasure. Friendly staff who will do their best to make your meal enjoyable. Big thanks to the first aider who saved my father in law from choking if your up this way would we would definitely recommend it. Xxx
Just back from the Border Hotel. Extensive menu with something to suit everyone. Food was excellent and portion size is very generous. We were in the restaurant which they've just started to use for evening bookings, lovely room. Service very good. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Had a beautiful lunch yesterday sat in the conservatory great company , great food and wine. The waitress was lovely and very attentive. I would recommend the vanilla cheesecake it was to die for . We will be back
A huge thankyou to Lindsay, Scott and team at the Border Hotel for making my Birthday lunch lunch yesterday so special. Food 1st class, service excellent, and the girls all welcoming and friendly, nothing seemed to be any bother to them. Can only say another thankyou, and say it's THE place to go for a meal.

Excellent food and great staff. We had our wedding reception here almost a year ago and everything was perfect. Staff even kept the secret. Looking forward to another meal soon.
I booked 14 of us in for lunch for mums 60th everything was perfect from start to finish staff couldnt of been more friendly or helpful food was excellent as usual.

Traditional Hotel in a lovely rural setting. Good choice for breakfast and we had a lovely evening meal.
