I ordered 18 portions of fish and chips for a small social gathering. They were freshly cooked and ready bang on time.

Simply put I love the food, the team and service from this place. It's the best in Yeovil, and I am sure beyond, for all things fish and chips orientated. After attempting to order from munch king and being told they didn't have this and that, at 530 and wasn't cooking anything else (even to order) I went here. This fish and chip ship in Glentworth Avenue is unique.. chicken nuggets are portions of chicken cooked in the fryer and are excellent.
Prices are very good, the quality is excellent and quantities are generous. They use vegetable oil to cook in 👍 (not lard, thank goodness! )

The best fish and chips in Yeovil and possibly Somerset! Large pieces of flaky white cod with tasty well seasoned batter, and a generous helping of chips. They also do not use hydrogenated oil in their cooking (unlike Palmers, I suspect). Fast and friendly service. Excellent, fully recommended!
They aren't the most local fish and chip shop for me but occasionally go out of my way to get them as they are excellent and I feel like a treat. In comparison to Palmers (either location) I find the fish about equal quality but the chips much better here.
Beautifully cooked and generous portions. Superb Value for money. The fish was perfectly cooked with large flakes and light crispy batter. The chips golden. Delicious
The only queue I don't mind standing in. The ladies here work incredibly hard, they're also all friendly and polite.
