Really cosy place to have lunch. Garden centre offers a variety of gift and household and souvenir items. Inside is immaculate, and the staff are very friendly, curteous and helpful. I am definitely going back. There's loads of parking and also a takeaway Palmer's fish and chips.

Had an amazing breakfast this morning, there were 13 of us and the staff were great, with such a big group and no pre booking we expected problems but no the food and drink arrived hot. Food was really tasty can highly recommend the breakfast omelette. Thanks to the staff for putting up with us, we will be back

Tried the restaurant at Palmers Garden centre today. I love a nice omelette and when I saw they had it on the menu for breakfast and lunch I was sold. I have to say it was quite lovely and not milky. I really hate when they add a ton of milk. It was served with a side salad too. The only criticism is that they cooked it without any salt at all. A small pinch makes all the difference, it should never be completely saltless. The restaurant has a good selection of english breakfast, omelettes, paninis, burgers, several salads and cakes. There's ample space with a huge seating area. Staff is nice and friendly. The garden centre has a great selection of outdoor plants and supplies but I found it a bit lacking for indoor plants and cacti. Brimstone garden centre has a much nicer and varied indoor display. I don't have a garden so I'm always more interested in indoor greenery. We'll probably be back for more omelette, and recommend the restaurant to try.

Food is great, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Has got a lot more expensive recently, £6.50 for a bacon sandwich seems a little steep. I have more recently met friends here for lunch. I ordered a tuna melt panini and a banana milkshake and paid £16! It definitely was not worth it. This used to be a good choice of place to meet up for meals but it's way too expensive for mediocrity.

Meet up with friends regularly here for coffee and a chat. Friendly service and never encouraged to move on.....we have stayed for nearly 3 hours! Dogs are now allowed in the cafe. Free parking a bonus.

Went into the "enormous" restaurant today (55+ tables): clean and friendly service. Stunning ice cream from Devon. Worth a visit

Enjoying my breakfast at time of typing. Good service and lovely food on a very busy day but sadly prices are climbing. On the plus side, toast is back as part of the breakfast offering. Generally quietly efficient.
