Cartgate Lodge Cafe - Yeovil - Photo album

This is a great place to take a break while traveling along the busy A303 trunk road......It's easy to find as it's well sign posted from the main road with easy access from the roundabout....As you pull in you will find a large carpark with plenty of good sized spaces........There are plenty of gra
I love this place. Conveniently nestled by a major interchange off the A303 and yet as rural as it gets. Surrounded by mature trees and comprising a huge grassy area with picnic tables. Ample parking around the perimeter is especially welcome for campervan and motorhome owners. The cafe is wonderful
Great customer service and competitively priced. Indoor and outdoor seating available for whatever your preference is. Not a lot to of choice on the menu but the cheese and bacon burger I bought for £7.50 was really good. The gentleman in the kitchen was really professional. Would highly recommend.
Didn't use the cafe as it was closed when we arrived at the Cartgate area. But it is a very welcome stopover for many truckers, motoromers and car drivers. Toilets are open 24/7 and kept in clean condition. Very busy today, but still room for trucks Thoroughly recommended
The best full English I’ve had since Gary Wilmotts wedding. Always want the decision to mix the beans and the eggs to be my decision and pleased to say Cartgate Lodge used a sausage as breakwater. Bingo!
A lovely find on our way back from Devon! Very clean, bright and airy cafe. Good menu, excellent prices. Really efficient service for our English breakfasts. Food came quickly and was fresh and hot. Clean toilets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stop either on the way to or ba
A very friendly cafe, located just off the A303 so very easy to get to from every direction. A good selection on the menu from pasties and sandwiches to full meals and all day breakfast. All well priced. I would certainly recommend a visit.
Stopped here on the way to Cornwall. We were recommended this place by friends. It didn't disappoint. Will be stopping here for breakfast when we return to Cornwall in the summer.
Great pit stop for hungry motorists and exhausted tourists travelling the A303. Good breakfast menu (with options for smaller portions if you wish), fast and friendly service. British cuisine at its best.
We quite often stop en-route Bristol Bridport but Sunday we had the English breakfast and it was brilliant 😋
This is a gem of a place with good parking for my caravan. Friendly service, great value, authentic food (cooked breakfast) and all using real cups and plates - no throw away plastic. My favourite services.
We enjoy stopping here when on the A303. It offers a range or hot and cold food option at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of seating inside and out. The only down side is it isn't dog friendly inside.
Pretty much empty. So not much atmosphere. But the food was great. Friendly service. And cheaper than I would pay for the same in my area. Recommend a visit
Lovely stopping off point. Toilets were spotless and the lady looking after the ladies toilet was superb. Helpful and polite. 5 star service. Only wish I'd got her name to record it in this review.
We stop here on the way home from South Devon. It has motorhome/car & caravan friendly parking, clean loos, information centre and a really super cafe. The food is high quality and fairly priced. The staff are lovely too, I usually have the mushrooms on toast, simple but divine. Hubby has the bacon
This was a treat of a place to visit. We were going to eat somewhere else earlier but it was closed. So we found this place just off the A303. A lovely breakfast and great coffee , many different dishes on the breakfast menu. Then at 11.30am a full and varied menu for all tastes. Happy cheerful sta
Excellent service area and super café with vegan options for breakfast which were great - we had the sausage bap which was packed, and a great cuppa. I'll love the flowers everywhere and clean toilets. A great place to stop.
A lively little cafe off the busy A303 at the cartgate roundabout. A good place to stop on the way to Cornwall.
Highly recommend. Ideal place to stop for a break and have a meal. Excellent choices and food delicious. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
