Lovely pub and hotel, beautiful beer garden with a closing gate that you can use to pen the kids in with, including kiddie tables. Because we were staying the hotel called up to see if we needed a table holding for the evening - good thing they did as the place was very busy with diners in the eveni

Would definitely stay here again (from Au
How do I give this lovely place the exceptional review it deserves without making it more difficult to get a table in the future. From the friendly and helpful staff for whom nothing was to much trouble, the superb food which was cooked to perfection and very well presented, to the variety of well k
Very popular largely due to the excellent service and atmosphere. Not eaten other than the fantastic value Pizza but the drinks are spot on and served cold if required.

We just had our works Christmas Lunch at The Helyar Arms today. What a beautiful pub. All the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely and hot and very tasty. The menu had so much choice, everyone found something they liked. They wasn't disappointed either. We will
Menu was very clear and offered a lot of choice, the food was delicious, and the staff were kind and very helpful. It's definitely worth booking by telephone.
Lovely food. I live in France and this is the 2nd time in 2 years I've eaten at this restaurant. Really impressed by the varied, interesting menu. Good sized portions, efficient, pleasant staff. I highly recommend this place.
Fantastic place with wonderful food and lovely staff. We didn't stay overnight so can't comment on that.
This pub has welcoming staff and a good ambience. There are several seating areas, plenty of parking spaces, and the menu looks good, although we have not yet tried the food.
Beautiful pub and garden. Popped in for a quick beer and bite to eat. Will be back again soon.
Lovely couple of nights would have preferred a wider menu than burgers and pizza on Sunday night but we managed
We hadn't booked a table for lunch, but they found us a table even though they had a large party of 28 people coming in for lunch. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. Would recommend the Helyar Arms to anyone who wants a real pub experience. The log burner was very welcome
Friendly attentive staff - fabulous menu - great food! Recommended!!
Excellent service. Food is excellent and certainly a notch above simple pub grub. Rooms are quaint and refreshed at the same time. A fine place to base yourself in rural Somerset. Recommend booking a table as it’s justifiably a very popular lunch and dinner destination.
