I was fortunate enough to win a voucher for Cow & Apple. This was our first visit and included our very excited 3 year old. We chose to go early, so not to bestow our very noisy munchkin on other diners.
Very good service, good range of burgers and a great range of cider.
We enjoyed our meal, burgers were delicious and extremely filling (I failed to eat my sweet potato fries). Our 3 year old was impressed with her burger, it was a pretty big children’s portion and a decent price for a meal, drink and ice cream.
Good to find a place that’s family friendly that’s open all day, perfect for an early tea with the toddler thats not your usual chain restaurant. Thank you, we’ll be back.
Very good burgers in this small bistro burger bar. Very good selection of draught and boxed ciders. I opted for the trump tower, great double 4oz burger with pastrami and cheese. Service was great and staff weren't in your face nor ignored you. Happy smiley faces makes for a good atmosphere.
Cow & Apple is always mine and my boyfriends ‘go to’ place if ever we're out in Yeovil. The staff are always super friendly, welcoming and attentive to their customers every need, and what can I say about the food? The burgers are worth their weight in gold, the food is absolutely delicious, especially their sweet potato fries. A must try! Great job guys ☺️

Came on Monday as i won burger of the month 'spring chicken' and was definitely not disappointed it was 3 times the size than photo though really enjoyed it thank you cow and apple Dorchester made to feel welcome and comfortable staff were top notch too

We were a table of nine and no one had a complaint, staff were really helpful and quick. Each time we ordered something to add on the service was great didn't have to wait long at all for mains puddings or drinks. Defiantly value for money. Great atmosphere inside and out and they were in no rush to move you on especially as we were there a bit later on.
Will definitely be going back
Came last night, had a very good meal and a pint with my daughter. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Bringing the hubby next time. Best meal out I have had in ages x
Enjoyed our lunch here, tasty chicken. The food good & staff friendly & helpful. In a lovely location, when the weather is dry you can sit outside too. It was busy but got served quite quickly. Will go again.
We visited this morning for breakfast with our 2 young boys. Breakfast was fantastic,plenty of choice to suit all of us! Staff were very nice and friendly, highly recommend this restaurant xxx

I order me em’ beer, steak, and more beer. Y’all made it granny-slappin delicious!! Em’ seats were as snug as a bug and y’all didn’t mind my clod-hoppers shaking ‘em Apples off the trees as I moved about. This place ain’t no honky-tonky but it still felt like home sweet home! After having one too many boilermakers, em’ folks talked like leprechauns and gave me an awkward eye as if I looked like I fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. But you’uns prefer their own cup of sweet peach tea. You’d be a yaller dog if you pass this fine diner by on your next outing to the pasture.
A good place with a nice view outside on a Cathedral. Probably better to visit during warm weather as outside seats are the best.
I loved the new premises, the layout works really well. There are options for outside dining and as ever the staff are great 😃 my burger was delicious, there's an amazing menu to choose from and the cider selection is fabulous!
Only ever so slight downside, (and not the restaurants fault) for those with sensory issues, the background noise level I found quite high at first, however, because the tables are evenly spaced, it was manageable.
Stopped for lunch on Sunday and enjoyed a Piggy Back burger and Crispy Chicken Tacos plus a lovely Elderflower cider by Norcotts. Quick service, great quality food and excellent cider. Worth a visit and lovely outlook over the church gardens.

Had a lovely meal, 5 of us ate and we all were stuffed. The burgers were huge and delicious. It was very quiet the evening we were there, and although adequate, the waiting staff seemed lack luster.
Ashamed to say first time I've been to cow & apple, we came in a group of 12 for a work meal. To the point the staff were fantastic, the food was delicious and overall a lovely vibe, from the rustic interior to the lovely outdoor seating with a cosy blanket looking over to the church. Service was excellent throughout cannot fault. I've also ordered take out from them before and it was just as amazing.

The Cow & Apple is Phenomenal. I visited with a group of 4 for dinner, never having tried this place out before, wondering what all the rage was about. It lived up to everything my friends had told me.
There is a sizeable yet concise and fun menu that offers classic burgers, and some more exotic options with room for extra pattys and fillings for that little bit extra. I ordered a Combine Burger which was one of their cheaper options, along with a Premium Cider since cider is their other speciality.
You order food at the bar when you are ready and the lovely staff will let the kitchen team know what you want asap and get your drinks prepared. Service was great and really fast too. None of my group had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for all our food to arrive and it was all piping hot.
The quality of the meat is incredible since it is sourced from a local trusted farm and prepared by chefs who know what they are up to. Combining that with all the other flavours in the burger made for one hell of a feast. With a side of rustic fries to go along side and a cider in hand, the meal I had was not one to be forgotten.
I would definitely return here in the future and love to try some of the other options this place serve. If you live in or are nearby to the Yeovil area, definitely give this place a try and dont sleep on it like I did!
The burgers here are amazing, the chips were out of this world and the selection of ciders made me want to abandon the car and stay all night. The view of the church surrounded by flowers made it extra special. But... The best thing about this place was the staff, no request too difficult to handle. Knowledgeable and friendly.

The burgers are fresh and extremely tasty. Customer service was excellent. Even though we didn't book the accommodated us with no fuss or complaint. Definitely will be visiting again and would suggest.

Heard a lot of good things about the cow & apple so thought we would go and try it ourselves....well we weren't disappointed.. staff were extremely welcoming and the food was amazing! Great experience and the slushy cider goes down a little too well 😀.

Absolutely fantastic! Went in for a drink, sampled some ciders, had a pint of Sloe Gin cider and then had the cider medley between three of us. Brilliant! Bought two large bottles of cider to take home! Super friendly staff!

I have been living in the UK for a few months now always looking for the best burger. Finally came across this gem of a place. The service is amazing staff is friendly and welcoming. The quality of the food is out standing. Would highly recommend them.
