One of the nicest pubs I've been to in a long time! Great food, drinks were ice cold and perfectly poured pints and the staff were so kind and welcoming! Italian Sunday was brilliant and the atmosphere was wonderful. Great hosts.
Absolutely the best meal we have been served in some time. Make sure that you go hungry. From presentation, to portion to taste, full marks. Warm atmosphere, attentive staff. Accessible. Dining areas. Wonderful comfortable bar area around the fire. Highly recommended. Maria Hanson MBE
A great British pub with decent beer and good food. They do "theme" night menu's (we've been to the Greek and Spanish tapas nights) - and both were excellent. There's also a very informal, low-pressure quiz afterwards to round the evening off. They also host several "meets" in the evening, which are
Short visit after cycling and seemed to have a really nice atmosphere. Decent selection of drinks and plenty of car parking and outdoor space. I can recommend.
Thank you Rob & team for a fantastic day yesterday, everything was just as we wanted. The food was excellent, and all the family enjoyed themselves, I will be popping in to book our Christmas family meal - it won't be long now!

Good food cold drinks and a lovely atmosphere
Good Ales and Whisky Knowledgeable, friendly helpful staff... Menu looks nice although not eaten here yet.
Stop for a drink here en-route home. Had the feel of a small French inn on a village crossroad. Maybe it was just the hot weather. Loved the location either way.
Had a ride out to try and find a new pub and what a great find this was. Lovely location and such a pretty and well maintained pub inside and out. A friendly welcome, great selection of drinks, lovely food (and what a nice change to actually have decent veggie options) and great staff. We could not
