Travelled from Sheffield as we were told this place was the BEST! It truly was! Little wait for a table as busy but got seated in about 20 minutes. A lovely waitress called Amelia served us, very polite and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. Scampi was amazing. Beautiful fish, very light batt
Visited today with family and my autistic son, staff were lovely asked to be sat in a quiet area which they let us. Had no problems. Portions are massive for the price! Definitely go hungry! 2 courses for the price is well worth it!!!
Hands down the greatest fish and chips I've ever eaten! It's a great old school fish and chips restaurant doing a true British classic the justice it deserves! We had about a 20min wait to be seated as the queue was out the door when we arrived. Which is testament to its popularity. However consider
Arrived as they opened and boy are we glad, about 30 minutes later the place was heaving and the large car park was full. Seated straight away and served a few minutes later. My first and not last visit here. Fresh, tasty food and plenty of it. I ordered the biggest fish they do and this thing is massive!!! Comes with a side, bread & butter and a pot of tea or coffee. I will be back and bringing the folks with me. Very impressed
The best in Britain we were told and yep - everyone is right. We went early Friday lunchtime and the queues quickly built up as we were dining. We opted for the seniors extravaganza- excellent value, portion sizes more than enough, the fish and chips being the highlight - along with proper old fashi
