I've been to many pubs to eat.
Honestly, you just can't compare the food here the roasts was hot, fresh, and fast.
My mums vegetarian meal was superb.
My beef roast was lovely and my daughters meal was also very nice.
She was given a kids sheet to draw and colour in so, she was entertained not that we were waiting for long.
Brilliant table service quick and friendly.
We came on a Sunday afternoon...not to busy or over crowded.

Absolutely amazing pub! Love the food! We had a prawn cocktail, the soup of the day, the Prawn and crab linguine, the haddock fish cakes and the honey pot dessert, it all really was amazing! Only couple of little things I would say is that the prawn cocktail needed a little bit more flavour to it, and the honey pot was extremely rich and could’ve done with a bit more ice cream just to help with that.but that doesn’t mean we’re going to give it any less than five stars, because it really was brilliant and a good evening out.
Lovely atmosphere. Chap behind the bar was very welcoming. I assume he was the manager. We were served promptly with a smile by Libby who was very friendly and helpful.
She brought our drinks out straight away. We didn't have to wait too long for the food which was very good. Both the Manager and Libby checked on us to make sure everything was ok.
Good meal out with friends.
Service was very good. Plenty of staff visited the table to replenish drinks and wasn't waiting ages for food.

Went for a Sunday roast yesterday! Absolutely incredible food - very generous portions, service was lovely. Atmosphere a typical homely pub on a Sunday! Definitely will be visiting again soon!
We’d asked for a quiet table so that we could talk to each other and that’s exactly what we got, so that was brilliant.
Service was excellent. even though it was a busy Friday evening.

We had a fantastic sunday roast today. Food was plentiful, service was great. A big shout out to Hannah who provided great service & interacted brilliantly with our grandchildren. She is a credit to your team.

Fabulous pub in the heart of the village! The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and always served with a smile. It's child friendly but never feels like it is overrun with children.
The interior is cosy and in keeping with the pubs' age without being stuffy. Perfection in a local!
The whole experience was amazing, they have a menu to fit everyone’s tastes. The staff were friendly and welcoming and consistently check things were ok and that drinks were full. The food itself was amazing it is hot, fresh and tasty and there wasn’t a long wait either. An overall amazing experience would highly recommend!
A spacious oldy pub. We had booked a table for 5 - was set for 6!
Mains were all lovely. Desserts overpriced especially the honey pot which was not nice.
Staff friendly and we didn't feel rushed.
The greeting as we entered the pub was warm, the restaurant was lovely with an open fire. The service was so friendly and the food was delicious.

Food was well delivered visually and very tasty. Service was smooth. However we waited an hour for our main, when considering the starter arrived in a little under ten minutes seemed like a long time while sat. Overall very nice decor, would reccomend a visit
