Excellent fish n chips and judging by the way the kids devour their chicken burgers I'd say they were in the same class!!!

The only place worth going for traditional fish & chips in Yate. I've been going there regularly for over 20 years and I've never had a bad meal. You can tell they take care in the preparation of the food. Regular portion sizes are perfect for me and are definitely value for money. Friday night & the weekends are always busy but that's to be expected. If you find yourself wanting some fish & chip then go to Pisces!

Was a good fish & chip shop but unfortunately closed down after being brought by Frydays in Cranleigh Court! Shame.

The food really is excellent but the service is really very slow. I get what these are trying to do - it's not your regular chip shop. Its nicely fitted out, they use quality ingredients and they take pride in their work. If you're not willing to wait for the food to be made (all to order) then I would recommend placing a telephone order in advance. The waiting time is the trade off for the quality. I've edited this review because I wrote the original after waiting for nearly 30 mins but now that I'm sat down eating high quality fish and chips I'm not hangry.

Always lovely fish and chips from this place, and today was no exception. One of only a handful of chippies that sells a truly small portion of both fish and chips which means less wastage with my faddy kids. I cannot fault this shop in any respect from the old family oil recipe made from ground nut oil and beef dripping, to the excellent service, and in particular skinless as well as boneless fish...yummy!

Great fish and chips. Really clean and tidy with some seats outside for good weather. All food cooked fresh. Friendly staff too. However, the chips are not vegetarian so our off-spring won't eat anything from there.

Food was really nice, the shop is really clean and the staff were very friendly. Still keep forgetting that you have to ask for salt and vinegar specifically which I find a bit odd but our burgers were really nice. Fresh garnish and very tasty. All the food was really nice i just missed my salt and vinegar 🤣

Excellent service, prefer to order by phone, staff remember us and are friendly....Please support British Fishermen by buying British fish. The peas are very good as well. Price OK.

If you want one word to describe the food here, I would use "Delicious". I know its a chip shop, but it's one of those chip shops that has high standards, and the food that comes out represents these high standards. The taste they get into their chips is really nice, and they have never been greasy either. Our "go-to" place when visiting our daughter in Yate.
