Had the most amazing afternoon tea at vintage birdcage bakery today! We had a voucher bought us for Christmas and decided to use it for an Easter treat. I requested a gluten free afternoon tea and was most impressed. The table was laid beautifully, the bread and cakes were moist (which if you are gluten free you will know is not always the case) and beautifully served and the service impeccable. I was most impressed though, with the attention to detail! The berries and grapes that came with the cakes and salad and coleslaw that accompanied the sandwiches, wraps and cheese muffin, added a freshness and healthier element.
Will definitely be returning soon x
Had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea and Big Dipper this morning! The staff could not have been more lovely and helpful, the food was so delicious and so beautifully presented. Would recommend this wonderful place to anyone for a special occasion or just to make yourself feel special. Will be coming again as often as possible ���
I love coming here and it never fails to please with its yummy food and friendly, helpful staff. Yesterday was the first time I bought my 20m old twins a children's sandwich instead of them sharing mine and wow I was very impressed. It was a very healthy and varied spread with a sandwich, fruit and salad pieces, some crisps and 2 little party rings. The fruit was even presented as a little butterfly. (Photo in comments) They loved picking at all their little bits and they left my sarnie alone! I did have to share my freak shake tho hahaha
I come here every week and the food and the staff are amazing. Does get busy in there at times as someone has said about the wait, but everything is cooked fresh and that takes time! I’ve not seen so many staff in such a small place and they do very well at keeping everything flowing.
Totally loved Mother’s Day afternoon tea at the Vintage, we were even given hand potted plants to take home with us �!! Amaaaaazing, the food was the best I’ve ever had at afternoon tea!! Definitely recommend xxx

Wow bought a afternoon tea for 2 me and a friend had a lovely day staff were polite friendly nothing to much trouble they were rushed off there feet as not so many staff on but all stayed focused happy in there work.
Most of all the high standard of food such a Wow afternoon tea delicous did not no where to start and even boxed up what we left. Definatley will becoming back and told friends and they are booking in the future xx�����

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was very quick though they were busy. There's 3 different spaces to sit in and the decor goes with the name. The coleslaw was really lovely and I thought the added description on the coffee was a lovely touch.

Lovely quaint place with lovely food.
If you are into your desserts or just have a sweet tooth then this place has the best cakes around. Highly recommend, tranquil atmosphere and love breakfast and lunches available.
Went here for breakfast. Given a table fast (even thought it was busy) and got our order in fairly fast too. Very nice decoration and the food was really good too.
We just popped in for a quick brunch. The staff members were so lovely and welcoming, the food is very good quality and incredibly tasty, even our very fussy toddler demolished her plate. It's a very child and dog friendly place.
A nice cafe with stunning decoration, Flora, birdcage and vintage designs making me fell in love and chill the day.

Took my mum for lunch today for the first time.
We were looked after by a lovely young lady called Emma and the service provided by her was first class. What a lovely, polite, kind and attentive young lady, every business dealing with the public needs an Emma working for them. We cannot praise her highly enough.
The food was outstanding , absolutely delicious and lots of it. We had a latte each to start followed by jackets potatoes with salad and coleslaw. One had homemade coronation chicken and the other had homemade chilli with grated cheese. The desserts were just superb, blueberry cheesecake and a massive waffle with banana, honey and cinnamon with 2 large scoops of ice-cream 😋.
This was our first visit and we are going back in 2 weeks for one of their amazing afternoons tea, we cannot wait.

A large choice of cakes, you can even ask depending on your proper taste, we have asked for a large cookie and we received an amazing sandwich cookie (not even available from the counter so do not hesitate😍)
The place is lovely, lot of different small space with flowers around. Smoothie are fresh
Afternoon tea seems just so yummy so it might worth it to come and try it and also take the time to book it as it is really busy on the weekend and we know why.

Brunch are available until 12 but even after you will find what you want that's for sure 😍
Also please not that the crazy milkshakes are no more available but normal ones still are.
My favourite place to eat in Yate! The staff are all super friendly, the cafe is clean and well decorated. The coffee and cakes are to die for!!!!!
We had the most amazing time at the Vintage Bird Cage! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the interior was absolutely stunning, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. The staff made sure to meet each guests individual needs (even gave the dog some doggy ice cream!); they went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience.
A variety of sweet delicious treats as well, I can't recommend it enough, and can't wait to visit again! 🤩
