Lovely evening, good food, great service! Couldn't fault the service, staff were friendly and there to help without being over your shoulder. They kindly offered to move us when things got a bit loud & rowdy (it was Friday night) to a quieter spot - thank you! Would definitely go again.

We had a lovely lunch here, all 10 of us - adults and children. We sat in their new covered outside seating area so out of the sun which was better for my 90 year old mum. The food was good value, served quickly and tasted lovely. We had pizza, sandwiches, ploughman's, the steak kebabs, children's sausages and an adults fish and chips - so a good selection from the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again next time we are on IOW.

Pleasant stay in this inn full of character and history. We were in good hands and well looked after by the friendly staff. Great view from our room on the top floor.

Fabulous building with lots of little side rooms, light and very comfortable restaurant to sit in. Personally the prices of food were on the expensive side, but being based in Yarmouth it may be the norm! The waitress was great and very attentive, the food was good, I had a garlic and cheese pizza which was very nice. The food didn't all come out and had to ask twice where food was, again the person who took the order was great, the people bringing the food out were not to the same standard! When we gave details of a person in the party with allergies they were given only one food choice. Would probably visit again just for drinks .

Staff and service excellent. Nice historic pub with great food and drink. The room wasn't the best, it smelt rather musty, bed wasn't the greatest and no shower head (had to hold my hand). Good location in the centre of Yarmouth, but no free parking

There's so much space! Outdoor seating under a canopy was fantastic. I went with my partner, infant, and 2 dogs. We were met at the entrance by a lovely lady who gave us our menus and directed us to our table. Good selection of booze. We both had mussels for our main. I have never had so many mussels before!

Shared a lovely evening drink here with family - went particularly for the Coachman's Ale which is son's favourite - one of the reasons he came to the island from his home in Sweden! Dogs very much enjoyed the rapturous welcome they received from a lovely lady who works here! Really lovely place to go to enjoy time together and would recommend absolutely.

Excellent place to stay but seriously dated it needs a lot of work to bring it up to modern day standard. However, don't let this distract you. The place has immense charm and the staff will bend over backwards to accommodate you. The food was exceptional, and our room whilst incredibly dated was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Super welcome even though we were very early. Quickly seated and drinks ordered. Food was speedy and excellent. The service of the food was good but it did take 2crequests for the bill for it to appear otherwise an excellent night.

I really like this Inn, just had food & drink, didn't stay in the rooms. I thought the food was excellent, we were quoted an 45-1hr wait for food, but arrived in 30 minutes, I think they were slightly short staffed for the day, but I think just a one off. The steak skewer (£18) was brilliant, tasting the steak I can see why the rump is £27. I also adore the period artifacts within the establishment. Certainly would visit again when in Yarmouth.
