Me and my friends went for our birthday meal last night and the food and service were amazing, the new decor is lovely and modern. They also got me and my friend a birthday cake which I think was a lovely touch and made the night extra special! We will definitely be going back.

Great restaurant. We hadn’t realised the restaurant closed at 10:30pm on Sundays. But the staff were very helpful and kept the kitchen open for us and we were able to enjoy an excellent meal.
Much better than Raj Bari was. Food was really good. Lamb Chops were spot on and all the food was tasty. Modern background music was annoying, I like an Indian to be an Indian
Just had our first meal from Soul Curry and it was lovely. Very nice tasty and spicy balti and rogan josh. Very nice people too, given them a try.
Just enjoyed another takeaway! Poppodums light and crispy, vegetable Dhansak the best Indian meal I can find. The chicken curries we also ordered were just brilliant. Always an excellent meal.Driver apologised for being late - only 10 minutes, no problem. Thank you.
I’ve enjoyed many curries in the Raj Bari over the years. It’s a Yarm institution really and has always been the leading curry restaurant whilst others have come and gone. Nice service and a good menu to choose from. No complaints and have always felt welcome there. Very happy to recommend the Raj Bari if you’re looking for a curry in Yarm.
Me and my husband visited here for the first time the food was good however the restaurant was extremely cold which made the visit disappointing the next time we visit will be summer

My favorite Indian in Teeside really good authentic curry house. Brilliant fish dishes I would recommend the goan fish curry or whole curried sea bass but everything I've had here is good. A bit dated inside but I think that just adds to the atmosphere. Vegan and gluten free friendly as well.
We have visited Raj Bari as a family a few times and I have enjoyed it, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is well prepared.
The restaurant inside is deceptively larger than it appears and there is plenty of room for families being seated away from couples which is really excellent and they seem to actually have this as a procedure when being seated as each time we go were along side other families leaving the couples in peace.
The only detraction is that owing to some of the seating being out of eye catching distance of the bar where the staff congregate it can be a bit difficult to get another round of drinks or get a waiter without going to the bar on occasion however they were fairly attentive throughout our meal.
Overall its a nice place to have a reasonable cost meal on the high street. Wouldnt hesistate to go back.
