We had an exceptional dining experience at Cena in Yarm. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The staff made us feel right at home, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our meal.
One thing that stood out was the timing - we never had to wait long for anything, yet we never felt rushed. It was a perfect balance that allowed us to savour every moment of our dining experience.
The food was nothing short of outstanding. In fact, I can confidently say it's some of the best food I've had in a long time. The flavours were exquisite, and each dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Cena. Despite the exceptional quality, the prices are decent and reasonable.
Furthermore, I must commend Cena for their commitment to cleanliness and freshness. Everything felt and looked so clean, and the ingredients used in our dishes were incredibly fresh. It added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.

A lovely restaurant with great ambience. Service is fast and attentive, and the food is great, really tasty. Delicious vegetarian options too, some suitable for vegans. Expect to pay about £40 for 3 courses with a drink. Great value for what you get.

Family meal with children. Service was very good, prompt and efficient. Nice range of menu options all of which received positive comments for taste.
Fixed price menu weekdays until 1700 had good options for most and the white bean houmous was very tasty. One mark off for the pasta with aubergine ragu as the pasta was a little soft and there was very little sauce.
Had a really nice time here, but sometimes the food just lets you down. Way too much green stuff on my pizza and the mash was brown.
Came here for an early dinner plus a few drinks NYE, glad it was booked well in advance as it was busy. There was a little wait due to this, but understandable. Friendly staff, tasty food, highlights from our table were the crab risotto, rigatoni bake and lasagne. My other half ordered carbonara and he was a little disappointed compared to the rest. The cocktails were excellent, done properly, so good value for £8.50. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a beautiful restaurant, a lovely cosy atmosphere with good acoustics (strange comment I know, but sometimes these places when busy get echoey and noisy, that wasn't the case here) I had a pizza and it was lovely, by far one of the best pizzas I've had. Attentive, friendly staff, just an all round lovely evening here. Would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful experience at Cena. Waiting staff were kind and attentive. The food was amazing, would reccomend the Hake with shellfish risotto! Didnt want the meal to end it was that enjoyable. Definitely visit Cena again soon.
Been many times, the staff and food are always lovely. The tiramisu never disappoints - the best one I’ve ever had and I’ve had a large selection of tiramisus in my lifetime. They even put a candle in it for my birthday which was lovely. The basil and sea salt fries are so good that I have no choice but to order them every time I visit as I can’t get enough. There’s a variety of dishes for starters and mains, which are delicious. I always recommend this restaurant to friends and family as I’ve always had a pleasant experience. The 10% service charge has always been made clear by the receipt, and the staff have always made me aware of it, however I often choose to tip extra as the staff are very deserving of it.

Great restaurant with fantastic service. We live locally and come once a month. I have been slightly hesitant recently because they never change their menu, it's the same all year round with no special options. This gets a bit boring if you are local. You would be my go to restaurant if you changed your menu or offered something a bit different.
Very popular and therefore busy. Certainly can be lots of noise making a quiet evening meal difficult. Food decent as is service

Lovely food, and great service. A decent amount of vegan options too, which is hard to come by with Italian food. Can't wait to try their Lasanga next! They have a pizza oven <3
