Well worth the drive down from Hartlepool for my daughters birthday meal. Too many good points to mention, the only downer was cucumber in my gin which I specifically asked to be omitted. Would highly recommend a visit.
We went for our 7th year anniversary, it's not the first time and it's won't be the last. Outstanding place. Staff were very friendly the food was lovely. The place was packed with a great atmosphere. See you again soon.
My hubby Paul and I came here for a meal courtesy of winning it with ENT North East. We wouldn't normally go somewhere like this as more than we could afford so it was a lovely treat. Gorgeous food and lovely service thank you.
We have visited here a couple of times over the last year and the service is always excellent with friendly staff, love the choice of food on the various menus and is always cooked presented very well. One thing I particularly like is the quality of the glasses they use for drinks, I hate drinking a nice wine or G&T out of a cheap glass so well done Muse on that one. Would highly recommend them but unfortunately we live in East Yorkshire and only visit when visiting the family but if we lived nearer would definitely come more often.
First time here to eat food was outstanding great staff and service Fab job your doing will be back
New Year's Eve in our favourite restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food is always excellent but the staff are also amazing. We've already booked for New Year's Eve next year! Xx
Lovely surroundings and great food....waitress we had was so pleasant and friendly she was a delight.
Credit where credit is due, superb meal tonight with our guests from Saarbruecken - massive improvement since our last visit and much appreciated ! Great staff, great service, great food - keep it up guys
it was are first visit to Muse, we went early evening, we were the first to arrive but the time we had ordered our food it was full, and a lovely atmosphere, the waitress was very attentive to us. The food was excellent, and definitely go again thank you
I came here on a Sunday with some family it was nice to see they had a vegan menu especially on Sunday when it can be hard for me to find dishes with no meat or fish in. I got the sweet potato pithivier that looked a little small at first but feels like a good size and tested lovely. For dessert they offered a vegan brownie which was nice. My sister thought it was a little dense which she doesn't like as much but I thought it was good so it will depend on personal preference. Good place to come for as a treat.
Great food and attentive service. We fully enjoyed a birthday meal out. Could not fault any of the 6 starters and mains and will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed my pork Sunday dinner.
Firstly the staff were so fresh faced and friendly.
Dinner came promptly as did the bill when I asked for it.
Food proportions were just right.
Excellent cuts of pork and the red cabbage was top notch.
Will definitely be going back to try out their two and three course special menu.
My major contender for best breakfast in Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough area stunning
Amazing food, excellent service - even mother seemed impressed. Didn't get pictures of all the meals as we were too busy eating. I think one of the starters was a ham hock risotto. I had a fish main course which was delicious. Very busy even for a Monday evening - parking in Yarm is always tricky but we found a spot quite close by.
We attended Muse around 5:30 on a Friday evening, it was fairly quiet when we arrived and the table we had booked was ready and waiting for us although we arrived early. It was nice to have a text reminder about our booking with an easy option to cancel had we needed it.
Our booking was based on a recommendation from a colleague and we weren't disappointed. Bread and olives though not on the menu were served quickly, although I'm surprised both were individually priced as these were not served separately. Both the hummus and aioli were delicious and fresh tasting. Would recommend these whilst you wait!
We had a variety of mains on the table pictured are the burger and short rib (although no mussels), both were delicious and filling. We had sides of 'proper' chips and onion rings, the other mains on our table were chicken and pork belly - all of which looked delicious and were served in a good amount of time based on the whole tables order. Our service was exactly how you'd expect, attentive but not intrusive and whilst we did have drinks on the bill we also had an endless amount of table water which was filled frequently and without the need for request.
Puddings shown are peach souffle and the lime and white chocolate cheesecake. The souffle was warm with subtle flavours but too much for me to finish after the filling portion of rib. The cheesecake on the other hand gave me serious desert envy and would recommend even though it wasnt my choice. The texture was unreal and so light without the usual density of cheesecake, I asked but sadly they don't offer a takeout service which is a shame as that cheesecake needs to be consumed as one of your five a day.
I'm looking forward to another visit - even if just for dessert!
A table for 5 adults including tip (10% added as standard on the bill) for two courses was about £170.
Muse is my favourite restaurant in Yarm. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. They cater for me as a vegan which is fantastic. Very happy to recommend.
Went for lunch. Good menu and no matter what is ordered, there is plenty of it. I ordered the Carbonara and the pasta dish was absolutely brimming: with the addition of a poached egg ( very nice touch). The Club Sandwich is enormous and the Croque Madame was delicious. Ambience is very nice and staff are very attentive.
Sat just outside for a family meal. Many great choices on the menu (including gluten and dairy-free). The food was excellent, as was the friendly service. We will definitely visit again.
Very accommodating to some changing needs. We really appreciate it. The food seemed less good than previously, though obviously it is still to a very high standard. No major complaints, still an absolute must if you're visiting Yarm from outside
