We stopped here for an early dinner after visiting National Trust Quarry Bank on the way home from a mini break. We enjoyed a tasty meal here, there were a couple of issues but not enough to mark down too much or put us off returning if we were ever in the area again. The food itself was all delicious and presented beautifully. We had 2 starters (black pudding and the cauliflower fritters) which were both incredible. The cauliflower in particular was spectacular! All 4 of us had a main meal however my partner was served the wrong pie although he decided not to wait for a replacement as we all already had our food (he didnt want to wait for a replacement to be cooked and us all have finished or have cold food) and the pie he was served was still really nice. Our only comment for improvement here would be for staff to write down the orders as our waitress didnt write down when we were ordering which resulted in the wrong pie being put through the till - it did make us nervous at the time as in our experience when wait staff are trying to remember everything and not write it down, things often go wrong. Thankfully this time around the error was pretty tasty so the dissapointment was offset! We then ordered 2 desserts, the giant choux and the loaded meringue which were tasty and looked amazing. The meringue however could be refined a little; it was HUGE, enormous, massive. Not necessarily a bad thing but it was over cooked and because of it's size there was nowhere near enough cream/icecream/fruit served with it so the contrast was all out of proportion. It was delicious however would have been more enjoyable had it been a little smaller, cooked a little less so it was soft in the middle and served with a proportional amount of the accompaniments. In saying that i still thoroughly enjoyed it and sent back an empty bowl! The restaurant area is very nice, peaceful and has lovley decor and atmosphere, comfy seats and spacious tables. We sat in a booth seat in the back with a great view of the airplanes landing at Manchester Airport. All the staff are friendly and polite and you can see that its a place loved by locals and visitors alike. Overall we had an enjoyable meal here and with a few tweaks this could be a 5 star worthy restaurant, it definitely has the potential.

Stopped off here for a light lunch and some plane spotting. The restaurant itself was immaculate and had very friendly staff, we ended up sitting outside and the staff were still just as attentive. Great selection of drinks at the bar and menu with a wide variety food (recommended the crispy beef noodles)

Been past many times visiting the airport runway, always wanted to give it a try and finally got the chance. A welcoming pub with wooden floors throughout, well laid out and nice decor. Choice of main menu and roast dinners on a Sunday, good portions and steaming hot food. Staff were nice and catered for our table very well with 2 kids, would highly recommend.

Absolute hidden gem of a place. Just had drinks but the food on the Sunday looked very good. Recommended to us by Chris from Bulls head in Hale Barns. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

What a beautiful transformation! We were pleasantly greeted and seated in the restaurant area which was a pleasant surprise to the new layout. We didn't wait too long and our meals were of a decent portion size, piping hot and very tasty. Pictured are two of the meals, the gammon steak and the vegetarian pie (which were very tasty!) the other two meals were the burger options but I didn't manage to get a picture. We also were able to choose from potatoes, chunky chips, the pineapple changed to another egg... Would definitely recommend and will definitely make a revisit.

Lovely, clean, friendly, warm country pub, price's are a little steep compared to other's near by . Food is always good when we choose to eat. Nice outside seating area when weather permits, pet friendly ... Wheel chair accessible and free parking ..

We reserved our table online which was easy and straight forward. Our first time here and most definitely not our last. The atmosphere was busy yet calm and pleasant, very homey. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. I had a Beef Sunday dinner which was perfect. Kidd had chicken stripes and a burger. The chicken is of good quality and tasty. Reasonably priced, bit more than your local pub. The staff were also extremely polite and helpful. Great visit 👌

Great place to eat before going to the airport. Really nice decor, good food and if you can get seat by the window, you an watch planes. Only marked down on atmosphere because it was very quiet when we visited.

Great food, big portions. Leah was our server, and she was bubbly and friendly and very good at upselling. Definitely recommend. The place is well presented and had open fires in the winter. We had a really nice relaxed lunch.

Quaint English pub close to Manchester airport. Reasonably good menu of pub food, beers and ales with a nice outdoor garden setting and generous indoor seating. The fish and chips was good and the curry sauce dip gave it an interesting twist to the taste. Service was pleasant and quick.

Really pleased we made the effort to walk here this evening - we didn't fancy any of the nearer options to the airport where we are staying. Delicious great quality food, limited but excellent vegetarian and vegan options and crumble to die for. Only 25 mins walk from the airport hotel we are staying at.

We read reviews before we booked as we were travelling to Manchester airport and staying in the Premier Inn for our holiday. We took our two sons at 6pm on a Saturday and the food was divine! Service was perfect and the pub inside and out is beautiful 😍 It was so good, when we returned to Manchester airport on the Wednesday afternoon, we popped back into the Tatton Arms with our boys for another meal. I had the steak pie this time and it did not disappoint! We only wished it was on our doorstep (West Yorkshire!!). Our eldest does like to visit the airport though yo view the planes so I'm sure we do that more often just to visit the pub for our food. As we left on the Saturday night, a plane flew rught above us in the car park and our eldest loved it. It timed just right as he's an avid airplane fan! Our son had the burger twice as he said its the best he's ever had! Our youngest had good old bangers and mash both times.

An Outstanding Fantastic Discovery Myself and My Partner visited here on the 9th April 2019 for Food and Drink. Upon arrival we were met and introduced to Hannah and Chelsea who were our hosts for the evening whilst in the restaurant and bar area. After taking in the beautiful historic refurbished building with SUPER CLEAN both Interior/Exterior we entered through a country modern door to a very unique Outstanding Bar Centre First, Seating left and Behind & Restaurant Area to the Right Lavatories next to but the first feel was calm, quite and peaceful, Amazingly Super Clean and Shiny, the place was emaciate. towards the end of food but they were insistent and polite on taking us to a table to accommodate our food request. We were able to pick a table, close to a brilliant view through glass windows (without a mark on them) As we looked through the fair price ranged menu with DEALS, SPECAILS, and more great quality dishes on offer which actually do cater for all. We ordered our food which came, FRESH, HOT, FLAVOURSOME, with Outstanding Tastes. The Portions are the money maker and more here as well as for High Cleanliness, Super Great Attitude, Sensational Tastey Food, Deluxe Awesome Service from Real Genuine Ladys. was really great to have found this little gem after had just been disappointed at the flying horse minutes beforehand. My huge portion of meal came wrapped and in boxes which was awesome cheers I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND THE TATTON ARMS PUB 5stars ***** Thankyou so very much will return many times over I hope Enjoy our photo's
