We visited the Cherry Tree for a family meal a week ago and it was a superb experience. The food was fresh and home cooked, โ€œwould highly recommend the seafood linguine and the liver and onions,โ€ the Landlady was friendly and very helpful, there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. A rare treat. Quintessential village pub which is very welcoming full of character and more often than not full of characters too. A delightful variety of local ales and a superb menu makes this friendly hostilery hard to beat. Pass on by and you've missed a genuine gem ๐Ÿ™‚
Some unusual real ales available. Seems to be a popular place for locals. Well supported. Good atmosphere.
Me and my Mrs been coming here once a week for 3 months and love it here. Great little pub ๐Ÿ‘
Wonderful village pub. Amazing food cooked by the landlady Julie. She never fails to produce real home cooked quality dishes. A great choice of locally sourced beers.
We live locally and the Cherry Tree is our first choice of a place for a warm welcome and excellent meal. Last night Julie, the landlady cooked us the most divine fish and chips anywhere in the country. She is a brilliant cook (not chef) this is real food cooked fresh when you arrive. Excellent! Th
The food was delicious, very good portions. Julie made us feel very welcome. Had a really good night.
Excellent, what an absolute gem. Roger and Julie, the owners of the pub couldn't be more helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and plentiful. The beer is kept to perfection. The locals are friendly and conversation flows freely. There is a regular bus service to Norwich with a stop
Lovely as usual great to see Roger and Julie. Roger is very entertaining and Julie is a great cook. Fantastic chips with our scampi. Canโ€™t wait to try the Sunday roast ๐Ÿ˜
Proper country pub...lovely! Run by a couple on their own so don't expect speedy service, but enjoy the relaxed, old fashioned pub atmosphere! Great, home cooked food:)
A good old fashion drinking pub. Was made to feel very welcome which goes a very long way and the landlady took the time to chat.
Very Friendly and quirky pub, and food excellent - when Julie cooks for you it's like having your Own Person Chef!
Popped in today, didn't know what to expect, friendly on arrival, good honest home cooked food from fresh, so be prepared for a worth while wait, proper pub with proper food, if you want your meal on a plate, not on a board or a piece of slate well worth a try.
We were welcomed like locals, it was so nice. The food was outstanding. An absolute gem of a place.
Absolutely amazing. This is a traditional English pub which serves great beer and awesome food. All home cooked and made to order. If you're looking for a quick eat and dash, then this isn't the place. But if you want to have a nice quality evening in a great environment then come here for a meal an
Execlent pub. Have been here several times now & always had a warm welcome. It is a rustic local with a friendly clientele as well as the owners. They brew their own beer, Buffys which is great, as well as a good range of others including bottled beer & cider. Just eaten here tonight & the food was
