Lovely staff, great value food, beautiful
building and a nice garden to sit in to enjoy it all.
We visited as a family for a meal on Saturday night. We phoned ahead and booked a table outside. It's busy on a Saturday so must book to avoid disappointment!
We were shown to our table and informed we need to order at the bar. This meant being a wait as they only had one card machine and with lot
Lovely historic pub. I just had time for one beer but the menu looked great. At least four ales on tap. Beer garden and service at the tables.
Lovely Tudor half timbered pub situated in an attractive picture postcard area of Wymondham. Some say it is late 14th century others mid 15th century. Does have a dragon in it but my photo turned out naff so don't know if it is green. The food looked very appetising, staff welcoming and helpful plus
A smashing old-world vibe serving great beer and ale along with amazing food. Probably one of the best Sunday roasts I've had for a long while all set in an authentic middle-earth tavern in the shires. Would highly recommend. A+++
Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime. Friendly staff and good beer. Sat in the beer garden. All dog friendly.
Fantastic and historic pub. Decent ales and a great food menu (currently served al fresco due to covid) with a lovely beer garden and fantastic flower displays. Friendly staff and customers make it an ideal place to stop off for refreshments.
Such a beautiful, period pub set in a lovely traditional town.
You can dine in or outside in the garden and for chilly October nights a tepe and fire pit are on the way.
We 3 had gammon / burger / hunters chicken and really enjoyed our meals, but had to leave a little because the portion sizes wer
Beautiful meal in a stunning location. Great variance of meals on the menu. Super friendly staff. We will most definitely be coming back! Thank you
A return visit after some years to the Green Dragon, which I understand to have recently re-opened under new ownership. The fascinating building remains one of the most enchanting pubs I've ever visited. For lunch, from a fairly limited menu, I had a good, generous, sausage baguette with very nice c
Lovely place. Food and service was good. Had the lunch sandwich of the day, the meat was a bit chewy but still good. Chips & pint were delish. Friendly service. Visiting from Toronto and manager took me on a wee tour of the building providing some historical insight.
Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime. Friendly staff and good beer. Sat in the beer garden. All dog friendly.
Me and my wife popped in for a meal and everything from the service to the food was 5*. It's nice to still find businesses offering a good service with so many still using COVID as an excuse for delivering subpar standards.
Wow. Wow. Wow. One of the best bits of pork belly I've ever had. The roasties had the perfect crispy to fluffy ratio, the Yorkshires were simply spot on and the pig in blanket to top it off. The mango and passion fruit cheesecake weren't half bad either!
Great food and beer. We were outside under the gazebo which was dry and had plenty of room between us and the other tables. We used the hopt app to order which was really simple and fairly quick.
Lovely food, everyone is very welcoming
