Perfect lunch pit stop between Southampton and Glastonbury just off the A303. Recommended on P4N so decided to drop in to break up my drive. Lunch is served until 4pm. Lovely traditional English pub w/car park and side courtyard with hanging vines. Beautiful. Serves up a decent big pot of tea. Good
Lovely pub, good atmosphere and food. A ' thriving' traditional village pub. Three course meal with a couple of drinks. Excellent value £60.
Lovely pub in a pretty little village. Staff very friendly and great service. Good choice on menu and offers more than standard pub grub. This pub is also ultra dog friendly so make sure you bring your pooch ☺️
Lovely traditional old pub. Made to feel very welcome and all the staff were really friendly. Good service, our meals arrived quicker than expected. The waiting staff were attentive without being overbearing. The portions were generous, and the roast beef was as good as I've ever had anywhere. The p
What am incredible find! Pulled off the A303 and found The Bell as we needed something to eat. The welcome was fantastic, all staff were jolly and smiling the whole time. Service was quick and efficient and the food was absolutely rocking! We had starters and mains and nothing disappointed. One wait
Friendliest Inn owners we've met on our UK road trip! They are absolutely lovely people and even let us fill up our van with water. Would be back any time! Very nice exterior too: with beautiful plants. Inside it is very cosy.
Had a lovely time at the Bell great Vegan Veggie menu. I will be back at an earlier time to have the Vegan roast dinner ! Thank you
Lovely country pub. Fantastic offer on a Wednesday, home made pies with a free pint of local larger. The burger was also very tasty.
What a little gem of a place! Large menu choice to suit all tastes and pockets! Such friendly service and genuine concern when one of the group chose something they wouldn't have normally and couldn't manage it (nothing to do with the food!). We will definitely be back!
Great place for a bite of lunch. The specials are a great value and the food was super tasty!
What a superb pub. Cosy bar, friendly landlady and locals, good selection of lagers and real ales on tap, including a lovely home-brew. Decent Sunday roast with a slab of lean topside, washed down with a great Malbec. There’s a dining area with flagstone floors and a garden too. And four beautiful r
Absolutely love this place Food was excellent, local bitter went down easily and the atmosphere very welcoming. Reasonably priced to boot! Would recommend to anyone passing.
Very welcoming staff with a true, small village, country pub vibe. Very nice location, great food, definitely worth the visit if you're in the area! Great chunky chips too!
We had an amazing lunch. The food was delicious, the owner was friendly, even asked if we were veg/vegan/allergies, and the town is beautiful. A gem off the beaten path for a tourist's lunch after Stonehenge.
We had a lovely lunch here on Friday, on our way to a family holiday in Devon. The menu had plenty of choice and the food was delicious. The lady who was serving, was very welcoming and wasn't phased by some of our family arriving nearly an hour late.
What a find! Sorted a dog walk to Stonehenge and needed a pit stop for our journey to Cornwall along the A303. The Bell come up on Maps with great reviews - they weren't wrong! A lovely little pub with a super-friendly hostess and a varied menu, from sandwiches to full meals. Seven of us amply fed a
What a find? Very surprised by the extensive menu and rapid service. Only looking for a quick bite to eat, came across this lovely old pub on our way west. Great place.
An absolute must visit! We found this place accidentally and we're so glad! Food and staff were excellent, and the area is so beautiful. If we're ever near the area we'll definitely be popping in again.
