Had our Valentines Day meal here. Absolutely spectacular food for a pub meal. Even had a dessert which was lovely too.

Spur of the moment booking after reminiscing travelling through Cheshire finding our old home. Super friendly, clean, comfy room and nice. atmosphere. Beautiful village. One point make sure you get a room at the rear of the pub the church bells were ringing every half hour !!!!!
Enjoyed the Sunday roast, great to get different veg including leeks in cheese sauce! They kindly made a smaller portion for my Mum.
After a lovely walk we had a great Christmas lunch here. Meal was excellent Christmas fayre. Service friendly and quickly served, would certainly return.

What a fantastic place! Staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food is so fresh, well priced and portion sizes are amazing. Beautiful surrounding, can't recommend highly enough! Will definitely be paying here another visit soon! Xx
I stayed for 2 nights at the red lion and enjoyed my stay. Room was cosy and well equipped. Had cooked breakfast which was freshly prepared and delicious as well as dinner one night. Recommend for an escape close to Nantwich and Crewe
What a gem, we decided to visit on a whim and I'm glad we did! Food was excellent, both taste and presentation. We were helped by Helen, a real asset to the venue. She was helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. We're definitely returning for the Sunday roast!

It took a while to get through when booking the order but I understand they can be busy.
It was nice and clean and the staff were friendly at all times. We ordered from the Sunday menu and the value for money was great. 3 courses for £18.9

We visited here when we stayed in the village this weekend and I’m so glad we tried here. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly. Felt so comfortable in there, I have absolutely nothing bad to say. I just cannot wait to go back!!
