Had a lovely family meal, the setting is beautiful, plenty of seating inside and out. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The prices were average, and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Hand & Trumpet, our local pub, and I must say it was an overall delightful experience that deserves a solid 5-star rating. This charming establishment impressed me in various aspects, including the staff, service, food quality, and atmosphere.

Lovely food that tastes worthy of the price premium. Both the inside and outside areas have plenty of individuality and character. Staff very friendly. The desserts were delicious.

Haven't been in over a year and my main was lovely. I had the boar pork and apple pie. The meat was juicy with plenty of gravy. Service was quick and we were shown to our table immediately. Atmosphere in the main dining room was relaxed although busy everyone seemed to be having a nice time. Great f
Lovely meal at the Hand & Trumpet with work colleagues this week. We went for the Christmas Fayre menu which was very reasonable for 2/3 courses and they were all delicious! Excellent presentation and good service. Very nicely done up inside also we were sat by an open fire which was lovely!
Great location with pretty natural pond overlooked by upper decked seating area with some heated undercover seating if wanted. Traditional style decor with large dining areas but keeping that quaint appeal. Good menu choice and bar is pretty impressive with a great selection of drinks and weekly gin

Excellent quality food,with good service. Nice ambience, and a good selection of well kept beers and ales, wines and spirits. Lovely outside seating area too.
Food was excellent I had pheasant, rabbit and black pudding starter , venison haunch main and my partner had venison meatball starter and lamb main and we shared bread and butter pudding the food was just amazing

This is a beautiful place. Full of lovely character, old books, vintage furniture and lovely staff. It's also clean, professional and yet still manages to be warm, friendly and cozy... !
