Went for anniversary meal and was not disappointed,always a great meal whenever we visit,they are running a 2 or 3 course deal so 3 course £18 is a bargain,a few supplements on some meals but lots of choice on menus,the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent,so I'd recommend to anyone,keep it up guys
Been here with family & friends a few times now & can't recommend highly enough. The food is superb. Delicious! And the staff can't do enough for you. We're thinking of having our wedding meal here. 😊

We came on Thursday evening for a family meal and it was lovely. Couldn't complain about a thing the staff were lovely and very chatty. Beautiful environment and food made to a really high standard. We will be back. Thank you x

Went for late Sunday lunch for our wedding anniversary. Didn't book but got a table. The menu had lots of choice two courses 16.99 . I had the prawn and smoked salmon starter which was very well presented and tasted lovely. We both had the roast beef and I can honestly say the beef was so tender and very lean. It was absolutely delicious. Served with fresh veg and roast and mashed potato. My husband had a sweet rather than starter. Warm Bakewell tart with black cherry and amaretto ice cream. The service was excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Definitely be back
Visited Corner House for the first time on 15.6.22. Really nice restaurant and the food was delicious! I had the Pan Fried Fillet of Sea Bass with King Prawns sautéed in Garlic, Chilli & Coriander Butter, New Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. He had Sauteed Chicken Strips with chorizo, red peppers & onions in a creamy smoked paprika sauce with basmati rice. 😋😋
Mixed feelings on the corner house. Part 1 - Restaurant wise: Been several times, and my experiences here have always been mediocre. I'd like to give it a 3, however most people I know seem to love this place, so 4 is the balance. I personally have found it good, but nothing amazing. Food is decent, reasonable value for money, feels a little run down in spots. Good car park, but no real views, small outdoor area.
Delish. Good sized portions and cooked really well, serving time was fantastic and it wasn't overpriced. Belting quality for what you pay. Cannot wait to return.

I'd heard about this place but had never been before tonight. Mine and my wifes anniversary so decided to treat her and I'm glad I picked here. Made to feel welcome straight away which is good and sat down quickly. Staff were great all night very polite and all had smiles on there faces which is a good thing to see. The food was amazing right from starter through to dessert. The fillet was amazing cooked to perfection and may be the best I've ever had, scratch that it is the best ive ever had!! Definitely will be coming back here I couldn't fault it at all. Well done to all who work here for giving us such a great night.
Lovely food and place. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Would've liked a sandwich for lunch though, but wasn't any on the menu. This makes it a bit expensive for lunchtime. Would go back for an evening meal.

All was delicious except for the burger which was hard and dry but everything else including the desserts was delicious and reasonably priced along with the drinks, staff were also lovely and very helpful. Beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting and I would love to return, (maybe just dont order the burger)
We visited a few weeks ago for a flying bite and had a starter which was fantastic, our second visit was great food but not quite as good as the first. There's something about the decor that just doesn't suit the type of clientele that comes here and the music definitely doesn't suit, I don't think my Grandma would enjoy listening to Sisquo's Thong Song.
Excellent good food friendly staff quick service highly recommend one of the nicest places to eat and not expensive.
Formerly a Michelin starred restaurant some years ago called the Mulberry Tree. Now, with new owners and sporting a bar, with a great selection of real ales and good outside eating and drinking area.
The food was good with generous portions and a reasonable veggie and vegan selection. In keeping with the trend for a trimmed down, manageable but varied menu, it didn't disappoint...
Great night at The Cornerhouse for Dads Birthday last Thursday, Indian theme night me & sis opted for -which was tasty. Most of the group opted for traditional menu (which has additional new options ) Lovely evening & fab service.
Always greeted warmly by friendly staff. Food is high quality and I think reasonably priced. I don't mind paying a little more for good quality and decent portion sizes which I've always had here. Never had a bad meal or experience in the years I've been going to The Corner House. Can't rate it highly enough.
Fantastic lovely welcome. Very comfortably spaced out and Covid aware. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. We all enjoyed our lunchtime meals. Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Top marks to the chef and staff!
