Has to be the best Sunday roast in Wrexham. Everything on the plate was delicious. The roast potatoes were amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had! The set menu is £15 which includes a main and a desert. We also had the soup to start and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

A truly fantastic, eating experience. The Food was divine. The dessert was some sumptuous and scrumptious. The service was great thanks to Ollie ,Ryan and George, who made sure I was well catered for. I had the Roast beef dinner which was excellent value for money with the two set menu, which was perfect for a Sunday outing. Their homemade crisps are out of this world too ,make sure you try them. Ambience of the restaurant is fantastic and the whole experience was a delight. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a shining diamond in the heart of Wrexham’s Coleg Cambria campus. Amazing 🤩

Amazing steak. It was pretty quiet, as we were there just after opening, no reservation and seated and served quickly. Staff are very chatty, but sometimes miss out parts of order. The mains are quite small dishes you will want dessert!

I have been supporting this restaurant since the older building and it continues to be a great choice. Sunday lunch today was great value and extremely tasty with good ingredients. Cauliflower cheese a little bit too al dente maybe? But what I don't understand with this restaurant is it's marketing has always been terrible and continues to be. The menus only state it is open at lunch times when it is open in the evenings at weekends I believe, and they do need this self promotion. For some reason marketing issues have gone on for years, must be the college connection?! Nevertheless, great service, great food, lovely environment.

Fantastic Food with a Side of Disappointment I recently had the pleasure of dining at the trendy and stylish iâl Restaurant, and I must say that my overall experience was excellent, with just a minor hiccup in the cocktail department. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and full of energy. The service was truly exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who catered to our every need. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience, providing thoughtful recommendations and making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding, each dish showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The attention to detail in the presentation was commendable, and the taste exceeded all our expectations. It was evident that the culinary team takes great pride in their work, which translated into a delightful gastronomic journey. However, the one aspect that let down our otherwise wonderful experience was the cocktails. Specifically, the Mojito, which was very disappointing. Served in a glass that was mostly filled with soda water, the flavors of the rum, mint, and lime were diluted to the point of being barely discernible. The result was a lackluster beverage that did not live up to the high standards set by the rest of the meal. Despite the disappointing cocktails, I would still rate iâl Restaurant at a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The exceptional food and service more than made up for the one shortcoming in the drink department. I would highly recommend visiting iâl for a delightful culinary experience, but be prepared to seek out alternative options for your cocktail fix.

A true 'Hidden Gem'. Quality of food (generally) fantastic. Small range across all courses. The Humous starter was the best we have ever tasted and having their Home-Made crisps was unique. 2 of the 3 mains were wonderful, but sadly the remaining main (Fillet Steak) was not hot; somewhere between warm and tepid. The accompanying Coated onion ring and half tomato were also both cold. Looks as if all were previously cooked and forgotten to be warmed through. Such a shame. Putting that disappointment to one side, the desserts were stunning. We understand that the site is part of the University and is used by trainee chefs and servers. If so, the future looks good. The manager looked after us well and the attention shown by the server was top quality. We will definitely return.

What an absolutely amazing place! Right from the start Simone made us feel so welcome and special. The food was 10 our of 10. Please try roasted peppers soup outstanding and the desserts just wow. Beautiful place with an amazing staff that made our evening even more special. I can easily say we found our favourite place in Wrexham. Highly recommended.

Visited for vegetarian Sunday dinner and was very impressed. The restaurant itself is beautiful; intimate & well spread out. The playlist was great too. Waiter was knowledgeable and didn’t keep hassling about drinks which was nice. Food came out quick. Everything was delicious. Devoured in minutes. Many flavours and generous gravy. Will be visiting again

This is a must for Sunday lunch, Saturday brunch or lovely meal in the week.....the restaurant itself has a lovely relaxed vibe and the staff are so friendly and attentive...nothings touch trouble. I love this place...reasonable priced food which feels a treat each time. Walk in or book which ever suits. The sourdough with oil and butter is a must....

I've wanted to try Coleg Ial for some time and WOW, it didn't disappoint! A beautiful venue with wonderful smiling faces on arrival. We've been looking to replace a favourite Sunday venue of ours which sadly had to close it's doors recently and I believe we've found it here. Wonderful Service, absolutely stunning food in a beautiful restaurant. These young chefs should be proud of themselves with food like this, absolutely outstanding! Roast beef cooked to perfection with stunning accompanying veg, the Cauliflower cheese is an absolute must on the side too. The chocolate pudding was stunning and I'm not even a pudding fan😊 A very special mention must also go to the lovely young gentleman who seated us, Ryan and 'Jojy Joseph' too, impeccable service with wonderful smiles...what a credit to any establishment. If you haven't tried it, you're truly missing out... can't wait to return 😊 £17.50 for 2 courses of this exemplary standard is outstanding! Thank You very much to all😊
