We had family in town who had spent the whole day travelling and were very tired and hungry, and we ended up at the Cunliffe Arms after being turned away by two other pubs (Bank holiday Monday, we didn't realise we'd struggle to find pubs still serving food after 7pm!)

Pub could do with a re-fit. Its a bit dated !!. Service was good though and food was hot and plentiful.
There is a playground outside but all fenced off. Such a shame !!.

Had a scrumptious carvery on Mother's Day, and I only booked the table 2 days beforehand! I was so lucky and my mum was very surprised on the Saturday as she didn't know I was travelling up from Devon... 🥰
