First time I've been here in 10yrs .. glad I've been back .. what a lovely place. Nice cosy environment. Professional and helpful staff.
Food was lovely too.
Starters: I had butter nut squash and sweet potato soup, nice and thick seasoned well.
Other half had creamy garlic mushrooms which he must have enjoyed because I didn't get a look in.
We also shared some bread and olive's.
Mains: He ordered off the specials board or was a seafood mix grill which he really enjoyed.
I had chicken BLT ciabatta, really nice meal, chicken was lovely and tender, skin on fries were really tasty and a nice refreshing.
Dessert we both had the triple chocolate brownie. I had the mini version with a coffee.

Absolutely incredible! I live in Bournemouth and recently travelled to the area. The service was incredible, the general manager is so hands on and as a manager in the industry it was so refreshing to watch! Will definitely be returning.
Went on a Thursday night, was nice quiet nice, staff helpful and friendly. Food good, decent choice on the menu and had some specials as well. Pricing ok, I think my pie was c£14 and worth it. Will stop in again and will recommend to others

Always great food and good service. Feels like a proper country pub and the manager really focuses on the community experience.
I visited Grapes Hotel on the 19th August 2023. I was joining some friends for a short time, as we have visited this place in previous years.
Whilst the experience there was pleasant, I have now received a parking fine of £100. I parked in one of the front bays and did not see a sign in front of the bay stating that I needed to register the vehicle inside. I was sat on an outside table and didn’t come inside to the bar myself as one of my friends went in to get a drink.
She wasn’t asked about registering a vehicle, therefore I was completely unaware that I needed to pay to park. As I was only there for 25 minutes I feel as though the fine is unjustifiable and is unaffordable.
As someone who would have liked to come here I again, I feel disappointed at such a high charge for parking, that I am very reluctant to pay.
