Very welcoming with a late lunch party of 11 (15 minutes notice) on a busy Sunday. More food than we could eat and reasonably priced. All good!

New Landlord, such friendly service and very accommodating. Didn’t expect much, but the food was simple yet tasty and a really great price. All they need is one great draft craft beer and it would get 6stars.

Tired, cold and hungry we were thrilled to stumble across this warm and friendly pub. We had a delicious meal, beef and ale stew served in an enormous Yorkshire pudding with beautifully cooked vegetables for only £9.95. Our waitress was really nice and friendly. A great find.
