really good poppadoms!!! the tray they give you with the sauces is really nice and varied. the naan is a big soggy but it's yummy anyway and the curries are DELICIOUS but could use a bit more flavour but they're still really good i reccomend it to everyone i see tbf. when they give you the bill you kind of just have to assume they've not scammed you bc i can't read the writing. been at least half a dozen times sat in the restaurant it's a bit awkward as you're usually the only person there but it might pick up as i've only been before 8.30pm

Excellent food and service. The staff were helpful and attentive. The resturant was nice but could do with a little decorating. That didn't take away from the excellent meal we enjoyed.
We enjoyed a really nice busy evening there 2 Fridays ago, great food, new menu with lots of variety. Always very friendly and efficient staff. Never had a bad take away either, would recommend from our experience
I feel like this is a really under-rated and under-appreciated restaurant! We eat from here (too!) regularly, and are only disappointed by what we choose, not the cooking, ingredients or service. Staples are delicious - bhajis, naans, poppadoms&pickles, etc. Their biryanis are great. Curries are good and fairly varied, although not as hot as you might expect. The staff are keen to get you try new things (especially the sweets!).
Prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
On the downside, the decor is pretty tired - it could do with a lick of paint and brightening up.
Good local curry house and friendly owner. I went for a chicken balti curry with pilau rice which was delicious washed down with a pint of Kingfisher lager. Slightly more expensive than other similiar establishments. But they are open every day, have an extensive menu including takeaway service and the website is excellent.
Excellent food and service. All 4 ofus enjoyed every bit of our meals. There are other Indian restaurants in the area but why would we go anywhere else?
Kind of like visiting an Indian restaurant in the 70's, in a good way. This place isn't pretentious, but it does serve really great food. The staff are attentive and polite, the food is always quick and they give us free dessert. Bangin'

My favourite Indian Restaurant in the area. Worth travelling a few miles for. Extensive menu for all tastes. BYO alcohol at the moment whilst under covid restrictions.
Love this little Indian, had many a takeaway from here and really recommend. Even had a sit down curry too. Staff are lovely and helpful
