What a find!
Popped in while visiting Plympton and can't believe we've not found this place before!
Lovely staff, very friendly, great food at a great price.
Dogs loved it and got fuss and treats and the woodburner was very welcome on a dreary day.
We'll definitely be recommending this place and will be back next time we're in the area!
We come here every fortnight when we come to Lee Moor to visit our nan & my kids always choose to come here they love the animals & always eat all there food this week some customers had a couple owls in there always people there with there dogs kids live it. & the little bit out the back with pigs, chickens goats & horses. Amazing cafe amazing food & amazing staff
It's a lovely little place! Food was good! Very reasonable priced too! Cute animal...staff very nice down to earth.. nothing to much trouble either!
First visit today to try out a breakfast, the weather was tipping down, but it was lovely to get inside and also go and check out the pigs, rabbits, goats and chickens that were under cover, so we are eager to go back when the weather is warm and dry to have a proper look around with the grandkids, and treat them to the sweets in the shop at the end, and take home some free range eggs and home made jams. Thanks, enjoyed our visit.
Have been regulars for a while now can highly recommend it great food great staff friendly and enjoyable time spent eating and making friends with the chickens out the back
So I didn't even know this place was here this is by far 5stars the food was lovely I had ham egg and chips never seen so much on a plate for only £3.50 wow wow wow!!!! Will be going back and making sure people know it's there!
Food and service is amazing, beautiful fresh eggs cook gorgeously, fresh from their own chickens. Toast was done lovely and golden, couldn't fault it and the bacon was lovely and massive rashers. Excellent value well worth a visit even for the good friendly service.
Brilliant food lovely staff highly recommend a visit
First time of going there. Breakfast was scrumptious, staff very friendly, prices very reasonable. Will definately make it a regular breakfast stop 😀
Lovely place. Food was brilliant and very reasonably priced. My daughter loved seeing the 'funny looking' chickens and listening to the snoring piggies!! Will definitely be back and will highly recommend
The best bacon baguettes! Just what the doctor ordered after a moorland meander! Steaming mug of tea and great value
Staff are so welcoming and friendly, and always go the extra mile - even treats for those muddy paws! Love the fact that pooches are welcome as they make up a big part of our families! Of all the high end cafes or coffee shops this is by far my favourite place to be. Xx
Cracking little place! Friendly staff lovely food HUGE wedges of cake and lovely friendly animals.
If you're looking for a proper greasy spoon, with tasty food (including homemade cakes), friendly staff and farmyard animals, this is the place for you.
Great value and £1 refills on hot drinks. You can't beat this place.
You can by bags of food to feed the animals and there's even a small indoor play area for little ones.
If you do not want to be greeted with smiles and a great service by bubbly, down to earth staff, this isn't the place for you. We visited this morning with our dog, who was offered a cooked sausage, and all had a great time. The food was lovely! We paid for what we got, and the portion sizes certainly weren't stingey! My partner had the big breakfast, and he didn't finish! I had the meat free breakfast :) This place had a nice family feel to it, and we had a lovely chat with the owner, a lady from Newcastle who's been here for 25 years. She was a real gem, and overall, the whole experience was our cup of tea! We'll definitely return if we're in the area again. Thanks, guys!
Nice dog friendly cafe with a good choice of food. Lots of breakfast options. I had medium breakfast with some black pudding and a mug of tea as an extra
A sausage for A was much appreciated..and quickly consumed!
Great tasty food with generous portions. I personally love the home made burger. Everything is cooked well without being overcooked. Love it here.
After walk on moors popped in here. Dog friendly win win.
Loved getting my own tea.
We had tea cakes with proper butter.
All cooked fresh be patient.
Loved it.
Called in for lunch. All day breakfast very good. Children's play area much appreciated. Staff friendly and helpful. NB "farmyard" this is basic, not an elegant restaurant! Quite close to Cann Woods for walkers etc.
That had to be one of the top 5 breakfasts I've ever had. Of course I had the Shire breakfast. Excellent service, great feeling of being made welcome and dogs welcome too. Good spacing for social distancing. Extra sausage for the dog went down a treat. Will definitely be making that a regular stop off when walking the dog, perhaps not that big a plate too often though lol.
Great family friendly service! Great for a breakfast run, whether cycling, biking, or car journey or just a treat out. The added fun for kids to see farm animals is really nice! You can purchase fresh farm eggs. Highly recommend the boar stack burger!
Just been to this little cafe for the first time and what an absolute delight it was the food was 5 star the service was 5 star and the people were 5 star ! , my little boy adored the animals and even re named the pigs ‘George + peppa’ original I know ! , it’s just the perfect little place with the loveliest people and loveliest environment thanks for having us looking forward to our 2nd visit
A popular unique venue. It's all in the name, so expect a farm yard experience. The foods good, portions are large, I had th double stack chicken burger I'd recommend it if you're hung over!
Lovely staff and love the fact I could take my dog in we had a cheeseburger and chips which was beautiful so flavoursome and we'll cooked ive been here before but never had the burger but very much a favourite now
Bacon and cheese roll and a mug of tea! We sat outside and enjoyed a perfect break on our cycle ride. A chilled independent establishment which deserves support.
Took a group.of 6 friends who had never been before to visit and had the most amazing breakfast ... once again the food was freshly cooked and to perfection . Everyone cleared their plates and enjoyed every mouthful . 6 very full and happy people.
We arrived bedraggled and wet by bike just before opening and the staff very kindly allowed us in early and we could dry out our kit by the fire. Service was excellent and very flexible and kind. Even passed us some brownies to sustain us for the rest of our trip!
Lovely breakfast. Excellent value. Very dog friendly. Will definitely go again
We didn't think life could get any better having just moved to Devon, but then we discovered the Farmyard Cafe and it did! Lovely people, lovely setting, lovely food.
Absolutely giving five stars. Great staff and tasty food. Welcome given to dogs as well with a doggy sausage too! Totally on top with the cleaning of tables and menus. Felt completely relaxed as plenty of space around tables. 😁
A proper cafe serving excellent cooked breakfasts - try the breakfast wrap. There’s a decent soft play area for kids too.
It's a lovely out of the way cafe. Family and dogs friendly, and there is a small indoor children's soft play area.
